He's going to be late.

Yoongi soars through the sky on anxious wings, adrenaline pumping through his veins as dodges bolt after bolt of lightning. The Antediluvians are absolutely furious with him. But as far as he is concerned, they can go and fuck themselves. He is free!

And he will not allow Brianna to die.

A surge of determination wells up within Brianna as she begins to notice the signs of Jeonguk's transformation

A surge of determination wells up within Brianna as she begins to notice the signs of Jeonguk's transformation. Her illusion has done well to keep it at bay for this long, but Seokjin should have long had him out of here. The young werewolf had literally torn away from Seokjin the moment his bindings were released, however, and now stands between Cole and herself with a furious snarl.

His skin ripples, the transformation from man to wolf just beneath. And already, Brianna can hear the tell-tale straining of the threads that bind his clothes together.

It won't be long now.

She'd seen this possibility, of course. Brianna knows what is coming. Jeonguk will survive, as will Jin. But she won't be making it out of this with her life intact. She was never going to anyway. In each of her visions she'd died. But it was this one, the one in which Seokjin does not get Jeonguk out in time, that was ultimately the saddest.

It won't be the nephilim that kills her.

She places a warm hand against Jeonguk's arm, silently pleading with him to leave. If he doesn't listen to her, he is going to hate himself for a very long time. And this is something that she does not want for him.

"You have to go Jeonguk, " Brianna pleads. "Before it's too late!"

But the feral snarl that is ripped from Jeonguk's lips tells her that it might already be too late.

His bones crunch sickeningly, just as thick and course fur begins to erupt from his skin. His frame grows, expands, elongating into a lycan form before Brianna's very eyes. Hands become paws, tipped with wicked and gleaming claws. His face morphs, becoming longer and more muzzle-like with every second.

As Jeonguk's clothes begin to rip away, he howls in pain. And everyone grows still, with the exception of the nephilim.

Before Brianna stands a fully morphed Jeonguk, a gigantic wolf with a dusk colored coat and too human eyes. With a growl, Jeonguk pounces, throwing himself at the nephilim. Brianna cries out as Jeonguk is roughly tossed to the side, the nephilim using the werewolf's own speed against him.

Jeonguk is nothing if not fast, and stubborn, however. He quickly rises to his feet once more, hackles raised.

"Jeonguk, stop!" Brianna cries.

She knows it's pointless. What has begun cannot be changed. And just like in her vision, the nephilim grabs her. He wraps a tight arm around her neck, and pulls her flush to him. It may look as if he is using her as a shield, but in all truth, he likely couldn't care less about the raging werewolf.
