"Hitomi, Suzaku Hitomi."

"Eh? You're in the second year? But..but.." The two First Years were lost for words.
Suzaku scratched his head, "Yeah, I get that a lot. I'm too fierce for my age, but once you get to know me well I'm quite the opposite." Zenno nodded his head in understanding.
"They say that about me too." Zenno said. I wonder what's he's getting into. "People say I'm perverted but actually I'm quite the ladies man." He straightens his clothes just before Chiharu could burst out in laughter. Rolling on the floor, clutching her belly.
"So reading porn is a manly thing to do?" She said between breaths. He cast a heavy glare at her, pouting at how fast she had exposed him in front of a fellow man. She held her hands up in surrender. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry."
"So your the first year, who got the magazine taken off him," Suzaku shook his head. "Shame. My friend Kurimi has been wanting those limited edition R18+ novels for a long time. Didn't know who to haggle it off."
They looked at him, wide eyes in surprise.
"You know her I assume?" Suzaku said.
"I met her on Monday, but she and Chiharu go way, like way, way back."
"I thought so. She's quite popular with the First Years. And Chiharu? As in Chiharu Fujimoto? The 'Wings of Konoha?"
"Yepp, that's me!"
Suzaku laughed, it was different than what Chiharu was expecting. She thought it would be deep and menacing but instead it sounded like the tinkle of a bell. Soft and airy. She ought to not judge anyone by first impressions anymore. "I saw your feat this morning. How many times did you guys practice to get the perfect jump and dynamic? You two seem to trust each other way to much to just have met this year."
Chiharu spoke up. "I've known Zenno ever since kindergarten, he bumped into me. I hit a chair of his head. BAM! Best friends. And it took us a whole year to even get close to perfecting it, my landing is still way off. But we're getting HEAPS better!" Her hand motions flinging everywhere, trying to convey the message clearer, managing to whack Zenno in the face.
"Geez Chi-Chan keep your hands to yourself. Your not trying to squat flies are you? Your going to mess up my hair."
"Your the only fly here Zenno and no one cares about your hair."
"But I'm not the only pest. Chiharu. There's you as well. And I LOVE my hair."
"I give up." Her hands fell to her sides. Zenno smirked in victory, both nearly forgetting that Suzaku was there. He felt old watching the two bicker about, even if he was only a year or two older than them. He chuckled. "Oh, Suzaku. How did you know I was the Wings of Konoha? That name was long gone after last year. And what was with those Third Year bullies? Did yo--"
"One question at a time please, or I'll get a headache."
Zenno snickered. "He thinks your voice is annoying."
Chiharu ignored his incessant behavior. "The first question please. Answer the first one."
Suzaku smiled, "That's easy. Back when you were well known as a High Jump prodigy everyone looked up to you and your enthusiasm. It's rare to find people set on a particular dream, especially since childhood. You competed in a lot of match ups against Karasuno as well. Our High Jump team watched all your trials; and yours too Zenno. Not only that but Fumiko couldn't seem to stop mentioning that you were coming to Karasuno."

[FLASHBACK]
"HEY, HEY, HEY!" The Second Year, Yuji Bokuto yelled. "IT'S PRACTICE TIME!"
"Yuji, Shut up."
"Yeah Bokuto-San, how are we supposed to concentrate when your yelling into our ears?"
"Bokuto Senpai, with all due respect, intercourse thyself."
"What?"
"He's too uneducated to know what thats means Kurimi, Yuji is a child in a adults body after all." Snickered the First Year Fumiko.
"My team mates are all mean!" Yuji wailed.
"That's alright Yuji, I'll be there for you." Kiyoko smiled.
"HEY? Why does Bokuto-Senpai get all the hot chicks? He's not even handsome." Kurimi sulked.
Karasuno's High Jump Club was preparing to board the bus to watch the Junior High schoolers compete in the Summer Inter high right after Nationals. Fumiko and Kurimi had already settled in at Karasuno after transferring from Aoba, they wanted to prevent anyone from going there. But other schools including Chidoriyama, Kitigawa Daichi, Yukigoawa and of course, Konoha had many potential superstars at their schools and Karasuno was to recruit them to ensure their school could remain a powerhouse.
"Maybe we could recruit the 'Wings of Konoha'!"
"What's with the maybe? I already know she's definitely coming to Karasuno." Fumiko shrugged. She had been keeping in touch with the young girl ever since the Oikawa incident.
"REALLY!"
"Stop shouting Bokuto."
"Your going to break my already damaged eardrums!"
"Yeah Senpai, you don't want to hurt your Kouhai's do you?"
"How do you know that Fumiko?" First Year Suzaku asked.
"We've been keeping in touch ever since my incident at Nationals."
Everyone winced. They knew Fumiko was still soft on the subject. Her breaking up with Oikawa had met with a change, she had taken up High Jump to honor her small friend Chiharu Fujimoto, and Kurimi had also joined. Although she was bribed with food. But it was the thought that counted. Fumiko had also wanted to dyed her hair a shade of purplish black and grow it out but her mom wouldn't let her until next year. Anyway, she had matured from that event.
They also knew that the 'Wings of Konoha' become slightly less known for her fame, and more well known for beating the shit out of Oikawa Tooru. Which more or less helped her progress. Chiharu Fujimoto had already fixed her leg and gotten ready for another season of High Jump. A new beginning.
...
"That same day I met you Chiharu." Present day Suzaku said.
"Chiharu you never told me you met him before!" Zenno protested
"Wait, really?" Chiharu said flabbergasted. "I remember everyone, but I don't remember seeing you there Suzaku-Senpai."
He sighed. "I had hair back then." His dear precious hair...
...
[FLASHBACK CONTINUED]
"There she is! Chiharu Fujimoto."
"Wow, she's already recovered from her fractured knee."
"Impressive."
The club walked up to the unsuspecting teen. Who squealed with surprise at the Karasuno High Jump Club. She was sweating and panting all over but still managed to jump in celebration of meeting her dream team. "Wow! It is really you guys. I'm not dreaming." She rubbed her eyes. Once, then again.
"We're the Karasuno High Jump Club. Pleased to meet your acquaintance ; Chiharu."
