Delilah
"Shut up! You're gonna wake her up."
I hear Ashton whispering sharply at someone."No I'm not." Replied a stubborn voice which I knew to be Tyler's.
"You two zip your mouths before I throw the both of you out of the balcony." And that is Tristan.
After that threat, there was pin drop silence. I'm sure that explains who the boss in the house is.
"You guys know that I can hear you right?" I told them. I was lying on my stomach and my face turned away from them. I had woken up a few minutes before they had entered.
I decided to sit up straight and face them.
"Aria, our grandparents are coming for a visit today." Tristan said. If you're wondering who 'Aria' is, that's my middle name. He's mostly the one who uses my middle name while addressing me.
"How long are they gonna stay?" I ask him. It was really sudden. They had just visited us like two months ago.
"Maybe for 2 weeks or so." He replied.
I was actually really excited to meet them again. My grandfather was one of the most intimidating men on Earth, but I could always share everything with him without being afraid. My dad and my brothers followed his footsteps.
While I was deep in thought, Ashton and Tyler had come up to my side and were both hugging me from each side.
"It's been a while since we cuddled." Ashton says.
Tyler hummed in agreement. This was not a rare occurrence. My brothers are under the impression that I'm a life-sized teddy bear that they can hug everytime. It's actually quite embarrassing sometimes. They would hug me whenever they felt like it, except Tristan of course. He has to keep his cold facade on, but he joins in sometimes too.
Tristan just looks at us and turns to go away. Just before he went out, he turned back and said ,"Oh, also Lorenzo and Matteo are coming." Which made me all the more excited, since I always visited them during holidays but this was the first time they were coming over. They were my cousin brothers, whom I loved a little bit too much.
"Come down for breakfast, we have talk about yesterday." Tristan says while walking out.
Sheesh. This dear father of mine. I was hoping he would not open his mouth to my brothers. But we all knew that was not gonna happen.
After I freshen up, I decide to get ready for the day and went down for breakfast. My brothers were already at the table.
Okay. Just breathe. It'll be fine. But I knew that it was not going to be fine.
"So I heard that you were crying yesterday. Is that true?" Tristan went straight to the point. Honestly it was not worth lying to Tristan, so I just told him the truth.
"It's just that I missed mom and dad a teeny-weeny bit. Seriously, it was nothing. I don't know why dad even called you for such a stupid reason." That is when I realized I fudged up.
"Listen Sorella, you are more important than our work and anything related to you is not stupid. The next time this happens you are to come to any of us, understood?" He says softly. Whenever Tristan showed this side of himself, I would forget all my worries.
I was always relying on my brothers for every little thing when I was small. As I grew older, I realized that maybe I was being a bother to them. So I had kind of stopped relying on them and tried being independent, which I obviously failed.
"Ok Fratello. I understand."
"Awwwww. This is too cute. I want our princess to become the cute little baby she used to be, who came running to us with all her problems." Ashton says while hugging me.
"Ashton!! I'm not a baby anymore." I try pushing him away but to no avail.
Why do I even try?"I'm gonna be late for classes. Move!" After much shouting, he finally leaves me.
I finish my breakfast like a hungry beggar and get up to go.
"Let's go Ty." I say picking up my bag and hugging all brothers.
We finally reach college. After giving Tyler another hug, I go straight to my friends. I could already see them in the hallway. I ran straight to Sofya and hug her, while Tony stood pouting in the side.
I swear this guy is not more than 5 years old mentally.
I move over to hug him, after which we finally get to our classes.
Even during classes, I could not shake off the thoughts about Mr. Romano.I wonder what would happen if my father and brothers met him. I'm sure they will hang him publicly. I should probably stop him, shouldn't I?
Time flew by and classes were finally over. I walk to my locker and get my things. Suddenly, I hear whispering and see people gathering outside.
Not again. When is this gonna stop?
I decide to go see who it was, that was fascinating them so much. I already hear some girls making not-so-appropriate comments. After digging my way through the crowd, I discover my cousin brothers standing and waiting by their car.
Oh shoot me somebody please. If the girls see me with them, I'm definitely not surviving tomorrow. Why does god hate me so much? And where is Tyler when you need him?
Wait, didn't Tyler say he had to stay back after school to do some work? Whyyyy!!!???
While I'm debating with inner self, I hear Lorenzo call out to me.
"Hey Delilah!" If it was other times, I would've ran and hugged him. But now was not other times.
Now I see everyone turning towards me one by one.
Great, just great.
