Summary: Peter and Flash's grade depends on getting along for a week. Spring break week. Living in Peter's apartment, learning more about Peter personally, maybe Flash will have a change of heart.

A/N: Go send Phoenix_292000 some love since they inspired me to write these! Also I was very inspired to finish these past two chapters, if you can't tell. 

1: Living Conditions

Flash never wanted this. When Mr. Smith gave out a project to learn about different cultures and families. Though it seemed interesting, Flash didn't want to be paired up with Parker. If anything, he thought the teacher would pair him up with one of his own friends, same with Peter.

Now the two teens stood in front of the teacher after class, arguing with him. Flash never saw Peter argue so much about something. It's understandable, he just started picking on Peter with that Harry kid a couple weeks ago.

"I'm sorry Mr. Parker there is nothing that I can do. You and Ned both know each other like the back of your guys' hands. It would be nice to know someone new for a change, right?" Mr. Smith reasoned

"I guess." Peter backed down.

"Well, I'm sorry. Enjoy your break you two." Mr. Smith smiled

Peter nodded and then grabbed his things. Flash followed in suit, steam still coming out of his ears. Peter must have sensed the mood the other teen was in. Peter sighed and walked along the sidewalk, towards the subway.

"Where are you going Parker? Isn't someone coming to pick you up?" Flash questioned

"No. My aunt's working late. So I take the subway home." Peter responded

"You take the subway." Flash stated.

"Yeah, not all of us are born with money Flash." Peter sassed

Flash has never really seen this side of Peter. Flash could only assume that it had something to do with the project that they were both assigned. They both continued to walk to the subway station, Peter would wave at other pedestrians that knew him from his everyday walk.

Flash was getting stared at. People knew the Thompsons, but they would never picture their son to be using the subway. Flash has used the subway before, whenever he needed time to himself he would use the subway instead of using one of the many cars his father owned.

Peter seemed to not mind Flash's presence. Which surprised Flash, since he picks on Peter endlessly. Peter simpily was hanging onto the handrail above him and texting someone on his phone with a slight smile. Flash didn't want to pry, so he left it alone. But he was still curious.

"Flash?" Peter questioned letting go of the handrail.

"Yeah?" Flash responded, snapping him out of his daze

"This is our stop. Let's go!" He exclaimed with a smile.

Flash nodded and proceeded to follow Peter to his home. The walk was around the block, Flash noticed that the houses seemed to turn into apartment complexes. They entered the lobby, which Peter was greeted with a wave from someone in there. Flash was about to ask Peter a question when Peter spoke up.
