His teeth closed around my nape, tugging slightly. I shivered as my desire for him reached the breaking point.

"Oh! Natsu, that's-!"

"That's what?" His impassioned eyes met mine.

"That's exactly what I like-." I sighed out my words. "Keep loving me, keep making me yours. I can't get enough of you either."

A hunger burned in Natsu's eyes, he caught my chin, guiding me toward him. I moved, led by his spell, into a powerful kiss. It was the thrill of our romance, the slow burn of our awakening feelings, the adventure we'd survived together.

Our panting breaths were so loud, so amazingly tantalizing in my ears, I thought the whole town could hear us.

'I'd let them. Just like Natsu let me know, I would shout loud through all of time how much I love him.'

I wrapped my arms around his neck, relaxing into his hands, utterly absorbed in that kiss.

Under the silent watch of the afternoon sun, nothing could stop our maddening desire for each other. We were partners in supreme bliss, never wanting to be apart again.

'What an unbelievable person I've fallen in love with.'

......

....

..

In the months since I'd returned to the past I'd made time to study up on it. Polishing my writing, due to it being different. Then there was etiquette, with being Natsu's newly wedded wife.. behind the scenes or not.. And of course, all the words that didn't come up in modern day conversations. Learnings been fun, and I understand everything better now. My teachers are entertaining to say the least.
Nonetheless, it's perfect for my new life... with a very absent Natsu, here lately.

"Natsu! I came to say-."

"Lucy, you just missed him."

'Gah! Seriously!' I looked around the empty chamber and sighed.

"Wendy, do you happen to know where he is now?"

"With Sting, they're finally discussing honors for the vassals who achieved results in the last battle."

'Ah, so it's basically pay day.'

"Don't be sad, Lucy. Though he's no longer a public figure, Lord Natsu is still our liege."

"Precisely, so you understand his duties haven't  decreased significantly." Erza added, as she came around the corner and joined Wendy and mines conversation.

"Of course i do. But I didn't come here to barge in on his work. I simply was hoping to catch him in between tasks, is all." 'Not like I can text him!'

Wendy and Erza smiled kindly at me, both graciously pointing in the right direction. They understand, I'm sure.

Natsu started work in the early morning, before I got up. And he didn't get back until after I'd fallen asleep  waiting for him. 'Basically, our relationship at the moment is one of a heating pad on a timer.'

It's been... wow, a week since we last had a conversation! That was when he got back from Giltina. Several weeks ago, Natsu led his vassals in a war to confront the territories in the southern island. And seven days ago he had returned victorious-

......

I was at the gate, waiting for him. While surrounded by impatient vassals, Natsu dismounted his horse.

I remembered feeling the urge to run over and give him a hug, but-

His vassals quickly greeted him, then expressed waiting matters that needed Natsu's attention. Such as developments in Dragnof and celebrating the current victory.

But luckily for me, Natsu had quickly dismissed the rest. Commanding that they all gather in the audience chamber.

I recalled the bright-eyed smile I gave him, hoping to draw him in through the sea of business between us. Though I'd never been good at fishing..

It worked though! And Natsu's eyes looked past the crowd, directly on me.

Just like I'd planned, he motioned me closer. All while he shooed his the vassals aside to make a path for me.

Upon reaching him, I was swept up into arms and my lips were sealed with a kiss.

A kiss full of hunger and need. As I cooed with pleasure, it caused the vassals to awkwardly stir around us, shutting down their chatter for Natsu's attention.

Yet that lasted but a moment.. we drew apart slowly. And Natsu flashed me a wonderful smile and promised to finish later..

But, later still hadn't come yet...
