Ever since I found Necrozma that became the Ultra Crystal, I have been in my Ultra Form. My name was Ultra Midnight. I was a born as a Lunala Chancei, from about a year ago. Rainbowstar had been taking care of me like a mother. I've sometimes called her Mother like my Lunala Mother was still there with me on Earth. Rainbowstar was the leader of the long-living group called the Immortals. They literally lived forever and saw everything. (Now, if you've never heard of the Immortals, read Lunala Book One right now!!!) Rainbowstar had sun-aged black hair, orange eyes that change colour when she's angry, wore shirts and black jeans and had the lightning moon and star mark that mostly shone white. Lunamoon was my personal favourite Immortal because of the name, hehe. She had very long gold and silver hair, blue eyes, wore very short dresses, long boots and had the moon mark. Weather and Storm were sisters, but not twins. Weather and Storm had albino white hair, bright blue eyes, wore knee high dresses and both had thunderhead marks— but Storm's had two lightning bolts instead of one. Halloween— AKA Catholic Girl— had orange hair, pink eyes, wore natural cotton dresses and nice looking flats. Christmas was Halloween's sister, but she was nothing like Halloween. Christmas had blonde hair, blue eyes, loose spandex dresses and low-heeled shoes. They practically live here in Rennollee Region. Then, there are the two brand new Immortals: Shyne and Rainbowstar's best friend Inferno Coal. Shyne had very silver blonde hair, sapphire blue eyes, wore pink clothes and had the Sunne Mark. Inferno was a black robot with a very dimmed face, orange lights, wore loose dresses due to a medical condition and had a Marble Mark during the day and the Moone mark during the night. (Or should I say the opposite of time?) Okay, let's go the actual story!
It was a cloudy day, there were green clouds swirling above our heads and Hale Town should have gotten renamed as Ghost Town, because it was THAT quiet. It was raining off and on, causing me to get sticky under my armor and feeling very uncomfortable. I took out the Ultra Crystal and I was in my normal form again. Necrozma appeared next to me in confusion.
"What seems to be the problem, Midnight?" Necrozma asked.
"When I'm in my Ultra Form, I feel humidity in places that should NOT have humidity there! So, let's remain separate for a while until this storm passes." I replied. Necrozma looked up into the sky for a long moment, then looked at me and nodded in understanding.
"Yeah, it does look very gloomy here, yes?" Necrozma said. I nodded. Rotom bumped into the window with a loud THUNK! It startled me and Necrozma and we both looked at him. He was shouting something at us, but even my supersonic hearing couldn't pick his voice up at all.
"What is Rotom saying?" Necrozma asked.
"How should I know? I can't hear him!" I replied.
"Well you're the one with supersonic hearing after all!" Necrozma pointed out.
"Supersonic hearing or not, I still can't pick up to what he is saying!" I retorted.
"Here, I can open the window. I don't think it's that hard, is it?" Necrozma rubbed his hands together, tugged on the window and successfully opened it, causing Rotom to spring out in front of us.
"Careful, comrade. What seems to be the trouble?" Necrozma asked Rotom as he was panting heavily.
"Rainbowstar and Inferno are working up special potions for you, Necrozma and ShortCircuit to get inside before a tornado comes!" Rotom said very quickly.
"Slow down, buddy! There is a tornado coming?" I asked.
"Yes! Rainbowstar predicted it and they're watching the weather channel as we speak!" Rotom wailed. That wasn't good. When Rainbowstar predicted something like that, that meant trouble. Rainbowstar usually predicted things that were going to have a positive outlook. But, if it was a negative prediction...
"Oh, no," I gasped, "we're all doomed."
"What do you mean doomed, Midnight?" Necrozma asked me.
"Meaning, we're about to face some anger... and not just from Rainbowstar either..." I was hyperventilating then. I fell to the ground breathing very heavily, trying to let my anxiety go down.
"Where's Twilight?! Where is she?!" I screeched.
"Remember, she's at her dad's trying to get to know each other alone." Rotom replied.
"I need her! She needs me! Help! Help!" I lost it. I screeched loudly in worry.
"What's wrong, Midnight?" ShortCircuit asked from behind me. I looked at him with teary, bloodshot eyes. He was carrying towels in his arms and shot me a worried look right when he saw my face.
"ShortCircuit! Can you PLEASE get Twilight and Ryan?! I need them! I feel like throwing up right now!" I panicked. He flinched. His tail wrapped around mine in reassurance. The spikes on his plug-looking tail were careful not to poke at my sensitive spot that was on mine as he wrapped me up a little.
"You'll be okay, I promise. What's a little storm going to do to us?" ShortCircuit said gently. I started bawling my eyes out. I wrapped my wings around him and threw my head on his shoulder. He nuzzled his spiky head on mine in comfort. I loved him like he was my own brother. ShortCircuit looked at Necrozma.
"Necrozma, take these towels inside the room, will you? I need to comfort Midnight." ShortCircuit whispered. Necrozma nodded and quietly took the towels. After ShortCircuit's hands were free from the laundry, he wrapped them around me and held me there. I was a little taller than he was, so he got on his tip-toes to even try to hug me. We stood there for a long period of time until it started to rain again. Sheets of rain fell hard against my skin as we stood there looking at each other. Rainbowstar stuck half her body out the window and called for us. Necrozma, ShortCircuit and I went up to her in a huddle. She gave each of us a vial of blue liquid. We all examined them.
"They're potions that will shrink you for a fixed amount of time. Drink it now or continue getting soaked to the skin!" Rainbowstar commanded. I poured the liquid into my mouth. It tasted really bitter. I gagged a little at it, then felt myself getting smaller. I stopped shrinking and looked up. ShortCircuit and Necrozma looked very gigantic and scary from down here. I shrieked. ShortCircuit looked down, squatted down to my level and looked at me in curiosity.
"So, that's what the potion does to you." ShortCircuit said in a low voice. He looked at the vial he was holding and drained the potion like it was water. He shrank down to the exact same height as I was. Then, Necrozma shrunk. Well...
"This is embarrassing to put out." Necrozma said to us. His head was still huge. ShortCircuit and I busted out laughing. Necrozma sneezed, then his head shrunk back to normal size like his body was. We all followed Rainbowstar inside the hotel. It looked very different when I flew in. I felt like I was actually Rainbowstar herself. Necrozma flew back into me, fusing us back into Ultra Lunala. I cried out because I didn't expect him flying back into me. Rainbowstar turned and looked at me and ShortCircuit. I shrugged with my black hands. Rainbowstar's eyes were abnormally red. She turned back around and waggled her finger at us to follow her. Something smelled fishy around there. No, it wasn't Rainbowstar's odor, I don't have Odor Sleuth. I was beginning to feel suspicious around Rainbowstar. Why were her eyes red even though she wasn't angry? ShortCircuit and I exchanged looks as we followed her into the hallway.
"Rainbowstar, are you feeling all right?" I asked her. She glared at me for a second, whipped her head around and growled, "I'm fine." Her growl was abnormally low and scary. I jolted and ran into ShortCircuit for comfort. He wrapped his arms around me and patted my head softly in comfort. He escorted me into the elevator with Rainbowstar, who was waiting impatiently. I didn't know what was wrong with her, or what was going on with the weather, but it was frightening me.
