"Rainbowstar?!" I swooped down to cradle her. She wasn't dead, but her breath was shallow. I glared at a man who was pointing his finger at her while laughing evilly. I shot a beam at him that threw him backwards. At least it shut him up. I looked back at Rainbowstar, who moaned weakly. She opened her eyes and looked at me a little bit.

"Midnight...?" she wheezed.

"Rainbowstar. It'll be okay. I got you." I said gently.

"I will heal her up after daybreak comes." Mother said from behind.

"Oh thank you, Mother! You're the best!" I replied to her in sheer relief. Mother nodded.

"Stop! Stop the fight!" The leader of the war shouted. We all stopped and looked at him.

"It is about to be dawn. We all need to take a day's break and get ready to fight some more when it is dusk once more! Now get out of my sight!" he yelled. What a relief.

Mother carried Rainbowstar back to the hotel. She laid her in her bed and one of her fingers was glowing gold.

"Rest, young Rainbowstar." she whispered as her finger touched Rainbowstar's forehead. After she healed Rainbowstar up, she turned to look at me.

"I always thought you weren't able going to make it all the way you are now." Mother said.

"Yeah, I thought I wasn't either. But, here I am; your daughter as a Lunala with the ability to fuse, I have a husband and a kid with several trainers and you by my side." I said. Mother nodded. ShortCircuit looked at us happily, but he was injured. I got out a hyper potion and he got healed right up.

"Thanks, sister." ShortCircuit said.

"Oh, who's this that calls you his sibling?" Mother asked. Not in anger, but curiosity.

"Oh, he's ShortCircuit. Ryan and I found him in the forest when we were going to the Altar." I explained.

"Yeah. She's really nice." ShortCircuit lit up pink.

"Well, that's very kind of you to take care of one another. I'm Midnight's mother." Mother said.

"Oh! Very nice to meet you, Midnight's Mother!" ShortCircuit clumsily bowed politely.

"Dear boy, no need to be this polite. I may be old, but you don't need to be like that. Be yourself." Mother said to him.

"Ah, sorry, Midnight's Mother!" ShortCircuit was sweating in embarrassment and nervousness.

It became the night time again. We all met again at the Altar getting ready for another bloody fight.

"Thank you all for coming once again. So far, only three people in total died in honor. Now, I expect the numbers to go up. CHARGE!!!!" the leader shouted. There were cries of anger and blood thirst. Everyone and everything started attacking each other senseless. I saw Mother beating a huge number of people like there were just toys.

"Mother! Are you sure you don't need help?" I called.

"No, honey I got it! LOOK OUT!!!" she shouted. I didn't know why she wailed look out. I felt something heavy hit me in the head. Before I knew it, I was out.
