Chapter 2 - The Confession

Taeyeon's POV:

"Taetae!"

I heard someone shouted my name as I was walking through the gates of SM University, the university where I'm actually studying at. I turned my vision and saw my bestfriend beaming a bright eye smile which never failed to cheer me up. I smiled in return and my footsteps dragged me towards him.

"Good morning Baekhyun-ah" I greeted him and his eye smile got even brighter.

Yes, he was the boy who I saved from Jiyong's gang 5 years ago. Unexpectedly, we became super close until I considered him as my bestfriend. I didn't know how it happened, well maybe because he was always there for me during my darkest times or he's always willing to make me smile just by seeing him happy. But I knew something that hurts me a lot when I will come to think about it.. he will never see me the way I do.

I admit it, I've been in love with Baekhyun since day 1 but I still didn't realize it until Heechul oppa made me. But for years, I still can't confess my feelings to him. I knew I'm being a coward but I'm scared that he might not feel the same way and it might ruin our friendship which I consider is the greatest thing that ever happened in my life.

"Yah! You're zoning out again!" He exclaimed that made me return to my senses.

"I'm sorry, I'm just thinking of something unimportant" I replied while he pouted cutely.

"Then why are you still thinking about it if it's something unimportant" I giggled at his silly sentence.

He then smiled or should I say smirked at me

"What?" I said innocently

"You are thinking about Leeteuk hyung, aren't you?" He voiced out and that saddened me for a moment but I still managed to hide it.

"I'm not"

"Yes you are! Remember you told me that you have a crush on Leeteuk hyung? I will never forget it!" I sighed inwardly, if only you know what my real thoughts and feelings are right now Baekhyun..

"Whatever Baekhyunnie" I teased him just to change the topic which I never wanted to talk about. It's not real anyway, I just told it to him since I don't want him being suspicious.

"Yah! Don't call me that!" 

"I will if you'll catch me, chase me if you can Byun Baekhyun!" I meronged and laughed at the same time as I started running away from where my frustrated bestfriend is.

"Start running for your life Kim Taeyeon!"

"Why are the two of you late again?" Yuri whispered as I sat on my desk next to her and Baekhyun. After an hour of me teasing Baekhyun and running like there's no tomorrow, of course we came late and definitely tired.

But because of my parents' and Baekhyun's dad's power, we didn't get any scolding from our professor.

Well I think that's an advantage of being the Kim's heiress and also a school queenka. Me, together with my group of friends including Baekhyun are part of the famous students here in this university, and I must say that it was completely annoying, I never wanted attention from the people except my parents and my best friend.

"It's none of your business Yul" I replied and she made a 'tss' sound.

"Alright, are we all settled down?" The professor who's name is Kim Soohyun questioned and we all answered 'yes' in respond.

"So first of all, I wanna introduce our new student," he paused for a moment and motioned the new transferee to enter which he obeyed, "Mr. Lee, please introduce yourself"
