chapter 1

~Chapter One~

I was sitting on a seat in the New York police station. I was still in shock from the phone call that i got about an hour ago.

" Flash Back"

"ring""ring"

"Hello"

" yes hello am i speaking with Lillyanna Sholtz?"

" yes you are. may i ask who is calling me?"

"this is Jannet from the New York police station and i am calling on behalf of a young man by the name of Allik Sholz. That one of our officers picked up today. We would like for you come down and pick him up. There a few thing that have to be sorted out. please come down here when you get the chance, thank you."

"End Of Flash Back"

This is the third time i had to go bail my little brother out of jail! It was getting the point where it was getting harder to believe him when he said it wasn'tt his fault. I knew he was going to have some kind of lame excuse for getting in trouble. But this time i will not take it. The last two times I bailed him out I have went easy on him because he has been going through a hard time ever since our parents past away.

Feeling an intense stare on me. i shook myself out of my thoughts to see a man in an officers uniform giving me a strange look, but before i could look into it more, it was gone. He started walking towards me. which didnt take that many steps. the man was probably around six foot four. He had short brown hair that was spiked, his pants of his uniform fit him in all the right places and his shirt fit his upper arm very well. It showed off how fit he was.

I mentally shook my head when i realized I was staring at him for more than appreciate. I take my eyes off his chest to look at his face he had a strong jaw line and his eyes were a deep aqua blue. I silently coursed myself realizing I was starring again. I Lift my head some more to see him starring at me. The silence started to become a little intense.

" Um.. Are you Miss. Sholtz?

My cheeks were giving away my embarrassment when i shook my head yes.

" Y-yes p-please call me lilly."

I can't believe I just stuttered over my words in front of the hottest guy in this police station. He gave me a quick nod.

" Can you please tell me why I had to leave a very big meeting at my work to come here?"

I knew i was sounding very rude but I couldn't help it. The day had already started out pretty bad with waking up lat and missing the subway. After awhile i heard a voice talking to me calling me out of my thoughts. mentally shaking my head to focus on what the officer was saying.Trying to keep my eyes from wondering to his strong chest.

" Mis.. um Lilly we have called you down here to the NY PD because around noon we picked up your brother for skipping school and under aged drinking."

my eyes went wide with shock. Allik has been getting into more and more trouble for things ever since our parents past away. This was taking it to another level. the only thing that he has ever got in trouble for was vandalism. Never has he skipped school or drank, well not that I knew about.

I took a long breath and let it out. I shook my head in disappointment for the path my brother was heading down.

" It has never been this bad."

For a second i could see the sympathy, but just as it appeared it was gone, and in place of that sympathy was nothing his deep aqua blue eyes showed me nothing of what he was feeling.

" So lets get down to it Mis... I mean lillyanna, this is your brothers third chance to get it right or next time there will be some consequences."
