"Jesse I just need to grab some books, will you come with me?", Celeste asked. She turned towards Jesse and felt her checks burn just at the sight of her perfect boyfriend. He was of sporting a crisp white button down and had the sleeves rolled up so you could see his muscular arms. With dark jeans and his black and white adidas she marveled at his simple yet wonderful choice of clothing. He looked up from his glasses and smiled. "I'd follow you anywhere Celeste." They walked beside one another as her eyes tore from book to book, looking for a specific author. Jesse was warm against her shoulder as his chest was placed securely against her. She felt safe whenever she was with him. Like no matter what happened to her she was safe if he was there.
"Oh I think I've found it", Celeste said under her breath. Jesse, who stood behind her in the small library aisle, leaned over her shoulder and looked at the book in her hand. Celeste felt his warm breath on her neck and felt the tiniest shiver escape down her spine. "The Great Gatsby", she replied. He left his head linger on her shoulder a moment longer, nudging his nose on her neck. She turned to him,"it's really fairly good. Gatsby waited years for his lover Daisy to realize what lengths he would go to to show her how much he loved her. Can't you just imagine it- loving someone with every fiber of your being?" Celeste hugged the novel close to her chest. She closed her eyes and sighed. She felt Jesse kiss her nose slightly. He tilted his head and said,"I have an idea." Jesse's cheeks were turning pink as she wrapped her arms around his chest, burying her face into him. Jesse held her gingerly and rubbed her back. He kissed the top of her head and spoke into her hair. "You know people look the cutest when they talk about what they love. When you talk about books you look so Goddamn cute. Like a little baby." He chuckled and kissed her head again. She laughed underneath him. She lifted her head to see her handsome other half. She lifted an eyebrow. "Well then what do you love?" He cupped her face lightly and looked down at her. "Do you have to guess?",he breathed and kissed her lightly. He loved Celeste more than any other person in the whole world. He was always very self conscious and nervous around other people. He says hid it by making jokes and just barely sliding by. But with Celeste, he didn't need to pretend. He could be himself and never feel like she would judge him. He thought the world of her and knew that he was going to spend the rest of his life with her in his arms. His kiss depended with his thoughts as their bodies were pulled closer. Celeste pulled on his shirt collar and closed the already small gap between them. She laced her fingers into his curly hair and felt a faint deep moan escape in Jesse's throat. Her kiss turned into a smile as she pulled away and looked at his blushed face. "I-I'm sorry Celeste. I didn't know that sound was gonna-" She cut him off, placing a finger on his plump lips. "I love you."
Jesse's eyes widened as he starred at Celeste. How her perfect little face was looking up at him and how her cheeks were sprinkled with freckles like stars. Her skin started turning pink and she bit her lip. Noticing that he was staring, he quickly looked down at his adidas, trying to focus on anything but her. She said it, he thought. She really said it. Be cool. He took a deep breath and pushed up his glasses, watching her. "Celeste I, I love you too. With all my stupid little heart I do." He smiled and hugged her tightly. He felt how fast his heart was beating against her skin and just held onto her like it was life or death. He broke away and saw little tears forming in her eyes. He held her face. "Celeste what's wrong?" But she just smiled and held his hand. "There's absolutely nothing wrong with this moment." She kissed his cheek as he wiped away her tears. He laughed,"There you go, being all cute again."
She laughed and took his hand.
Around the corner the librarian poked her head and yelled. "WE'RE IN A FUCKING LIBRARY NOT A NICHOLAS SPARKS MOVIES GET OUT!" Jesse chocked and was dragged by Celeste as she checked out "The Great Gatsby" and in a fit of giggles they ran out of the library.
