Chapter 3

The thing about having a best friend. It's awesome. And let's just say it solves all your problems.

Tahlia my best friend. Well she is one heck of a woman. We met when we were in kindergarden when she climbed up a tree and was scared to come down.

I was sitting underneath that tree when an apple landed on my head. I look up and lo behold my future friend/best friend.

In the end she was too scared to come down by herself and i had to call a teacher to get her down. Luckily the male teacher was so tall he only needed to extend his arms to get her down.

He was so freaking tall i remember he had to duck his head everytime he goes in the teacher's room. He basically had to bend his body when he went into our classroom.

Tahlia make me swear ever not to speak of that day. And so that was how we met. In high school, i was the geek while she was the more outgoing one and still she never left me for those other kids.

There was this one time she punch a guy in the face for saying my boobs were flat when we were 14. Yeah i was fourteen, not a fully grown teenager. Apparently, the douchebag did not know that and he got sock in the face. He deserved it.

Tahlia got detention nearly suspended for two days as she convinced the principle that he made and offensive remark to me as a women. The principal who is a women who is  by the way, a hardcore feminist and i mean like Emma Watson feminist.

And so tahlia ended up in detention which i accompanied her in. During detention, i told her to never do that again. But does she listen? Nope. Never.

I was sixteen when Tahlia punched Serena, the school's slutbag in the face for saying i was ugly. Tahlia ended up in the principal's office again in 105th time visit to her office.

Principle Mackenzie was not all surprise for seeing her in her office. For the countless reasons Tahlia had been in her office most of the fights were caused by her. But Tahlia tried to justify herself everytime she waltz into the principal's office and rightly so.

Because everytime she picked a fight is when a female is being bullied. But sometimes she would encounter a male being bullied she wouldnt bother to pick a fight as she was too 'lazy'. Instead she would blow the whistle similar to Coach Lorraine who always uses her whistle to punish boys who were acting out of the line. Her punishment most would say was inhumane.
Boys would mostly had to run around the field only with their boxers while  she used her long ruler to spank their butts.

Like really when does she have the time for that?

And so Tahlia always gets into endless kinds of trouble until she met her mate. Hugo was his name. He was a brunette. Im not sure if i should call hima brunette because this word is often applied to girls but,whatever. I called him a brunette because he has brown hair.

And boy did tahlia stopped getting into trouble. Finding her mate occupied 99.99% of her time. That 0.01% is with me.

It's Hugo's job anyway to keep her in check. So i called her over to my house coming up with ways to avoid my meeting with him.

Since i knew there will be few people who will infiltrate our base including my mate, i ask my dad to increase our security. He asked why and said to just trust me. Then he shrugged it off saying extra protection's no harm.

So i stole the cctv camera database and i logged in the system from my laptop to keep watch. Oh and where does tahlia help in all this. I placed Thalia in diverting my parent's attention from my dissapearance in the party to whatever thing she is good at doing.

And Hugo will be on standby when my mate and his team enters our base.

Then i closed my laptop and get ready for the night.
