Chapter 4

I wore my dress that my mother picked out for me which was floor length.

I decided to appear for the first hour of my party and dissapear for the rest.

So i stood there greeting many people and my pack members. Thanking them for wishing me happy birthday.

Then i slipped into my bedroom and found my little brother on my bed.

Yup that little bugger whom i did not mention until now is sitting on my bed with a lolipop.

'I sense that your planning something, sister or should i say scheming' my brother hop down from my bed to open my laptop.

'Well it's not scheming when it's not and i say what are you doing here in my room' i closed my laptop and lifted him up to my hip.

'You know im getting too old for this.' He tried to escape from my arms.

I laughed and kiss his cheek. 'You know i love you right' He swiped at his cheek and said 'yeah yeah who wouldnt love me'

'Your pet hamster' Yeah he has a hamster in a cage. The hamster just ran on the wheel and sometimes the hamster just stop and went against the cage trying to get out and he just repeats the cycle. It was hilarious.

'Remy loves me i play with him everyday.' I pat him on his head. 'Okay kiddo just make sure he gets out of his cage once in a while'

'But he's so hard to catch. He's too fast for dad to catch and you're always studying, why do you think i got that pet hamster' I hug him closer.

'Aww my baby brother's lonely. Well why didnt you say so. I would play with you whenever i am free' I kiss his cheek again.

He swiped at his cheek 'Eww stop that' I laughed and said 'Come on let's get you something to eat'

I felt relieved and happy to see my friends and family. I decide to just live in the moment. Being here with them is all that i needed and wanted. Nothing else matters.

I went downstairs and stack his plate up with food. Thalia walk up to me and said 'Hugo wanted me to tell you that Milo said there was no one suspicious he spot in the cctv.'

I nodded 'okay'. Thalia nudged me and said 'Hey you still havent tell me what's this about' I stopped in my tracks not knowing what to say.
