The weatherman said that there was a hundred percent chance of precipitation, but that didn't stop the three girls seated on a bench next to the big lake in the park. The sky was gray and lightning was striking in the distance. No living soul was in sight, scared of the oncoming storm. Yet the three teenagers were laughing and talking, almost as if they welcomed the downpour.

"I can't believe that tomorrow is actually our first day! I thought it'd never come," said the smallest of the three girls.

The other two nodded eagerly in agreement. It was a peculiar sight. The small girl, despite always claiming to be right above average height, had a blonde, almost white hair reaching her shoulders. The other two girls at first sight looked the same with their curly, black hairs, lengthy legs and snub noses. No one would have guessed that the twins were cousins with the blonde.

"Do you think we will all be sorceresses?"

The question came from one of the twins, the one with a little scar on her chin from falling off a tree when they were little.

"It's quite possible. All of our parents are," answered the white haired girl.

They continued talking, the excitement bubbling inside of them. Tomorrow was the day they would all begin their magical studies in the famed Conservatory, leaving behind their mortal life.
