It's my Kingdom

Chapter 3

A new day. The sun was shining through the windows as I sat up on the bed trying to stretch but stopping due to the pain it caused throughout my whole body.

I looked to the left where Will was frying some Eggs. Jack was sleeping on the other side of the room and Eric outside on that bedthing. I found out it was called charpay.

Weird name right.

"How are you doing?" Will asked while setting the table.

"Better every second." I replied.

Although I had a lot of pain my wounds were healing pretty fast due to my Family's secret.

"Do you do all chores ?" I asked in curiosity.

"No, no." He replied. "Jack does the hunting and Eric cleans up or buys stuff for us in the city."

In that Moment Eric came inside.

I felt so weird like in a romance book but real. Its pretty crazy but.... he looked breathtaking.

His Hair wasn't brushed and his face wasn't washed but he looked so good. Its crazy.

Anyways I didn't want to concentrate on that no matter how pretty he is character is more important right.

Ok, actually he is good so far.

I mean.... he saved me......and.......he sacrificed his bed for me and slept outside.....that is pretty nice.

But that is actually a bigger reason not to start anything with him because I don't want some good person to suffer because of me.

He asked Will for a big Bowl and went out again.

I got up slowly and walked towards Will, while ignoring the pain.

"Do you guys have water up here?"
I asked in hope.

"No, but there is a river very close to us you will find it easily."

Oh great, I could barely walk and now I should manage to climb down and  up again ? The thought of it was already so exhausting.

But no, I can't be lazy right. Anyways if Will tells me then he probably thinks I can manage. So I will go.

I pushed the door open and went outside.

I walked even slower while planning how to get off.

As I reached the ladder I stopped, trying to convince myself to really do this.

I tried to sit down first at the edge of the Platform. The pain caused tears in my eyes but I didnt stop.

I started to feel dizzy so I layed down slowly. The sun was hurting my eyes so I covered them with my arm.

I heard someone coming up the ladder but I didnt care at the moment I felt extremely weak.

As the person arrived he put something on the floor and sat beside me.

"Hey, are you okay?"

It was Eric. I would recognize this beautiful, calming, heart melting voice anywhere.

I put my Arm on my forehead to confirm my thoughts.

Oh my... I am so pathetic. I had to get up right now. Why did HE have to find me from all people?!?!

I tried to sit up not knowing how to respond.

Instead of helping me to sit up he made me lay down again.

"Wait here, I will get Will."

He said. He seemed alittle  panicked. I didnt understand why and I didnt really care to know at the moment. I just wanted to sleep.
