8 Months Later

Olivia: I'm here.

Olivia let out a big nervous breath of air as she hit send and put her phone back into the pocket of her jacket. She looked up at the big, heavy-looking metal door to a secret bunker. What in the world was she doing? This was a terrible idea, right? She crossed her arms over her chest more from nerves than impatience.

After what felt like a small eternity, the big door creaked open revealing Sam, a mischievous smile on his face. He looked rather pleased with himself, and Olivia had to stop herself from rolling her eyes.

"This is a horrible idea, Sam. He's going to be pissed." Olivia entered the bunker as Sam beckoned her in, moving to the side.

"If he's going to be pissed at anyone. It'll be me and I can handle it." Sam shrugged.

This time Olivia did roll her eyes with a small sigh as she allowed her blue eyes to search around the large room. The place was something you'd see out of a movie. Her mind wandered as she allowed Sam to lead her down the staircase further into the dwelling.

Eight months. It had seemed as though nothing and everything had happened in those months. She had finished the school year and spent a lot of time trying to be okay with everything. She, of course, had the unwavering support of her best friend. She and Alexis spent a lot of time together in those following months making sure the other was okay and just talking about everything and trying to make sense of it all. Jamie had moved home for good and kept in contact through phone calls and text. It had taken her a while but eventually, she had gotten used to everything after the dust had settled. It had been eight long months since she'd seen Dean Winchester and now she wasn't so sure of his brother's plan.

After their last night together she and Dean had agreed to go their separate ways with some stipulations. They would keep in contact through Sam. She had hated the idea of putting the younger brother in the middle but both had also agreed that they would both go somewhat crazy if they didn't know how the other one was doing. So, every so often Sam sent her a check-in e-mail or text and she would respond and Sam would let her know Dean was fine. To say she was shocked when Sam suggested that she visit after month seven would be an understatement. Sam had told her to just come and assured her that Dean would be happy to see her once the surprise of it had passed. She couldn't believe she allowed herself to be talked into this ridiculous plan.

But, there she was, in Lebanon, Kansas standing in an old bunker feeling ridiculous. She watched Sam set her duffel bag on a big table in the middle of the room that had a world map on it and seemed to light up. She ran her hands nervously through her long dark hair letting out a nervous breath.

"Olivia, it's going to be fine. I know my brother. He needs this just as much as you do." Sam smiled reassuringly at her.

As she opened her mouth to argue a young man with a bright wide smile and big hopeful blue eyes rounded the corner into the room. He had sandy brown hair and reminded her a bit of Castiel. He looked to Sam in question who nodded with a low chuckle as the young man lunged forward pulling her into a firm hug.

"Olivia! Hello! I'm Jack!" He said as he released her from his embrace and stepped back with a small adorable wave.

"Hi, Jack. It's nice to finally meet you." Olivia smiled back warmly. Dean had told her about Jack during their last night together. He had talked fondly of Jack, as a proud uncle or father would. It warmed her to finally meet another important person in Dean's life.

"Dean is going to be really excited to see you. He's missed you a lot. He won't admit it because he's Dean, but we know." He beamed proudly, causing her to chuckle and her nerves to dissipate slightly.
