Chapter 2

(Y,n) POV

The day went by peacefully. I and Dom had gotten pretty close. We watched movies, I taught her to cook some stuff and she showed me her drawings. They were quite impressive to be honest. She even asked me to sleep over sometimes.

I felt less lonely plus I liked the kid. We kept each other company and afterall this years I felt like I had a reason to go home. My depression started to fade. I might have been the one able to use magic but this kid was deffinatly magical.

It was around 6:30 in the morning. Dom had asked me to stay over but I couldn't sleep so I was watching the news.

"The arrow saved the city once again. The famous terrorist is finally behind bars. " Cat Grand said delivering the news.

This woman is incredible. Getting up so early to do her job and I bet sometimes she doesnt even leave her office. I got up to start preparing breakfast as always.

I was cutting some carrots when I heard.

"Freeze, don't move"

"Wow that's a little cliche to say miss Lance" I said turning around slowly holding my knife to see Sara with a gun aiming on my forehead.

"Drop it"

"What did you say? " I was messing with her.

"Drop it NOW! "

"Ok, ok as you wish"

I left the knife on the counter. And turned around to look at her.

"Who are you?"

"You should already know the answer to your question miss Lance"

"On your knees"

"Oh so now you want me on my knees. You're moving to fast don't you think? "

I could see she was frustrated, but she was also unstable. Her left leg was trembling. She deffinatly wasn't completely fine after she left to hospital.

"Ok how about you drop the gun and we just talk?"

"No I'm getting you to the police station!"

"Ok, ok take it easy" I said moving closer to her slowly.

"Stay back!"

"Miss Lance I need you to relax"

She shot me. I dodged the bullet quickly moving to the side and then rushed over to her. I disarmed her and now I was the one holding the gun and she was stuck between the wall and my body. I held her gun pointing at her ribs making sure she felt that now I was in charge.

"I could have killed you in an instant yet again I haven't. So maybe you should hear me out before planting a bullet in my head." She nodded and I loosened my grip and left her gun on the kitchen table.

"Please take a seat " I said showing her the couch "Afterall this is your house".

I sat on the other side of the couch staring at her. She was definitely going to the gym a lot.

She definitely noticed me staring and she cut me of.

"Care to explain your self? "

"Af course"

"Oh my god youre the manager?"

"The one and only"

"I'm sorry for being so alerted but I never expect visitors and as a body guard I have a target on my back."

"Its okay I get it. Although it's such a same I've never met you before"

"Now if you excuse me I think its better if I go before your daughter wakes up."

"You know about Dominique?"

"Yeah I do. She's great by the way. We kept each other company while you were in the hospital. I was here everyday to be honest after the shelf incident. "

"Oh ok"

"Don't worry I won't be bothering you anymore since you're back. Now I'll leave you with your daughter. I hope your leg gets better soon. Oh before I forget is it okay if I drop by tommorow morning and get some stuff I've left here?"

"Yeah sure. "

"Ok I'll see you around"I said ready to close the door behind me.

"Em (Y,n) thanks for taking care of Dominique for me"

"It was my pleasure" I said and I closed the door.

I closed the door to my apartment and feel to the ground leaving a deep breath I was holding.

"IDIOT! You almost used your powers. What if she figured out who you were? Would she let you go then? No no I don't think so. You could have been revieled." I screamed to myself.

Thank god my suite is soundproof.

I wore my vigilanty suit and teleported to the closest rooftop. I started free running all around town. It helped me clear my mind.

I hope Sara is okay. Her leg seemed in a really bad shape plus I did shock her a little back there.

"AHH.. " I feel on a rooftop sliding to the edge. My wound had opened when I made the jump.

I teleported back home and stitched it up. "I should do something for Sara to apologize" I thought and I wore my regular clothes and I left the house.
