New York, New York. August 12th, 2017. Malone's bedroom, 11:37 AM.
"Hey, Buck?" Malone called as she walked down the hallway, standing in his doorway. His head snapped up from the book in front of him and smiled at her. "We're about to leave."
Bucky smiled softly as he stood and walked towards her, grabbing both of her hands.
"I wish you didn't have to go," he sighed, swinging their hands between them. She raised one to touch his cheek as he leaned his head into her touch, hoping to savor it forever.
"I know, but I hope you understand how important this is to me," she whispered back. "I've finally got a family, Buck. I need to meet them if nothing else for my sanity," she chuckled.
"Don't forget about me while you're gone," he said, leaning in to place a kiss on her forehead.
"I couldn't even if I tried," she replied, pulling his face down to meet hers in a tender kiss. "I love you, James."
"I love you too, Georgia."
She turned and walked out of his doorway and towards the elevator, only stopping when she heard him call from behind her.
"Oh, hey," he called, causing her to turn. "Tony and I think it's a good idea for me to move outta here and back downstairs, so Cole will be none the wiser," he smirked softly. She slowly walked back towards him, wrapping her arms around his neck, and he placed his on her waist.
"I'll miss you being two steps away, but where there's a will, there's a way," she smiled, pulling him in for a longer, second kiss. Their moment was interrupted by Ryan, Kenny and Bill coming down the hallway, talking loudly.
"C'mon, kids. Stark's got a car waiting. Oh, pumpkin here, I'll take your bag," Bill said as he pulled Malone's bag off of her shoulder and into his, smiling at Bucky as he did. "Don't miss us too much, Barnes."
"I'll miss you most of all, Bill," Bucky laughed back.
"Ouch," Kenny replied sarcastically.
"I could have told you that Pops was his favorite," Ryan laughed loudly, slapping Kenny on the shoulder.

Quinjet Landing Pad. 12:02 PM.
"Be safe out there, Malone," Kenny whispered as he pulled her in for a tight hug. She hugged him back, hoping that next time, all three of the Taylor children would be together again.
"Loving this new look, Malone," Thor smiled as he passed her on his way to board the Quinjet. She chuckled as she glanced down at the suit Tony had designed for her. It was a similar to Natasha's in that it was a black catsuit, but it was made out of material that Tony promised was bulletproof, fireproof, waterproof, and equipped with a parachute, should she need it. She had chosen a black leather jacket to put over her suit, hoping to hide from her own insecurities. Her father placed a kiss on her forehead and gave her a few words of encouragement before she turned to Ryan.
