Horas grunted angrily at his fallen henchmen.
He glanced around, eyes narrowed, teeth seething. All around him were a heap of mess and debris left by the dragon riders just hours ago.

For the last hour, he had been trying to get his henchmen to clean this mess up. Obviously they weren't exactly in the best state. Some had been blasted by the dragons' fire in the chest, which would take time to recover.

Though, being an impatient man, Horas couldn't simply just wait for his henchmen to gain consciousness.
He could clean the mess himself, but clearly cleaning wasn't on his mind when the realization hit him that he just lost the Night Fury and his rider.

"Horas."

Annoyed, Horas slowly turned around to find one of his henchmen rising to his feet. He sputtered out a cough. "Those dragon riders and the Night Fury have escaped. They're probably gone by now." He let out another cough.

Horas paced towards the entrance of the room. He paused, letting out a dry, humorless laugh.

"And you don't think I'm very well aware of that?" He stalked over to his henchman, raising a hand. He struck it across his henchman's cheek, who grimaced in pain.
"Idiot! What good can you do when you've lost those riders? More importantly, the bloody Night Fury?!" he glared coldly at the rest of his fallen henchmen.
"I had that beast right in my bloody hands! But you fools let it get away! You...you all failed me. Again!" He heaved a sigh, then relaxed his face.
"I could kill all of you, but I won't. Only because I'm loyal to my henchmen. And I'm willing to give you ONE last chance."

Relief washed over the henchmen's faces.

"Oh, thank Thor, Horas," one of the henchmen said, standing up. "I'm glad I can keep my-''

"You will lose your legs if you fail me again." Horas motioned his sword to the henchman's legs. "And you really don't want that, do you?"

The henchman quivered, shaking his head.

"N-no, Horas."

"Good." He lowered his sword, then began walking out of the door. "Get this mess cleaned up. I've had enough disappointment today. And while you're at it, get me a mug of ale. I really need it."

Nodding, the henchmen immediately got to work, fearing they'll lose their limbs if they don't.
The last thing they wanted was to have their heads impaled in Horas' chambers. If the dragon hunter leader was capable to do that.

Leaving his henchmen alone, Horas strode down the dark corridors.
Low squawking and whimpers came from the cages lining along the corridors.
Even though they longed for freedom, the dragons dared not to provoke Horas; fearing what horrible things he will do to them.
All they could do is remain silent and obey their new master.

Horas smirked at his obedient prisoners. He walked further down the corridors; his footsteps creaking against the timber floor, his dark cloak trailing behind him.

When he reached his chamber, Horas slumped on his makeshift chair, made of scrap metal and wood pieces. He stretched his legs over a wooden stool, removing his helmet, and rubbed his tensed forehead.

One of his henchmen entered the room, handing Horas a mug of ale. He exited the room, leaving the dragon hunter leader in peace.

Taking a sip of his drink, Horas released a satisfied sigh. With just his thoughts and blissful silence, he could finally contemplate the next stage of his plan. He had a better plan; one he hoped will go according to plan.
