A/N IM ALIVEEEEEEEEEE :) ! wooooohhoooo! anyway, just because im so happy, im uploading early! ususally sunday is my upload day but i just had to <3  DEDICATED TO @fiveboyswithonedream read her stories, shes great

I rip my hand out of Jake's. "leave."

he looks at me with his eyebrows furrowed "what?"

"I said leave." i said more decidedly my voice quivering towards the end. i walked over to the door and motioned to the hallway. i wanted to be alone. i will not let anyone get close to me. i need to find my brother and friends, no distractions.

"no need to be an ass" he mumbles leaving the room. finally.

I know, that was uncalled for. but I honestly cannot let anything come in the way of my concentration.  "damn it! i cant think!" i yell into my bed.

what was i going to do? i don't know anything about where they are. actually, not true. i know that its on an island. "The library!" i whisper slamming my hands on the bed in accomplishment. I stood up to go out the door. i need to be sneaky i think to myself. i run over, pull open my drawer and pull out a pair of wool socks. i slip them on my feet to muffle the sound of my footsteps.

i walk over to the door and slip out unnoticed. I turn down the hallway and go into full stealth mode, i know it sounds terrible, but I'm actually having fun with this. i even do a ninja roll across the hall.

i come up to the door to the library and peek through the window, checking for any people that might be in there. i catch my breath in my throat as I hear footsteps nearing from the other side of the door. I don't even dare look, I just hide. one of the serving people walk out  with a duster and swiftly locks the door behind her. damn. i gotta get those keys.

 I follow her down the hall. she is pushing a cart which is not very quiet, probably due to the front wheel thats pirouetting like a ballerina on speed.

the hall is dark, which works to my advantage. the maid takes an unexpected stop. my room. she knocks on my door and after no reply, she opens the door, takes new linens off of her cart and proceeds into my room.

I smile wildly when i see she has left the keys on top of the towel pile on her cart. score. s snag the keys and go to the one with a huge "L" printed on it. i remove it from the ring and place the keys gently back on the towel stack.

I hide before she comes out carrying my old linens. 

Time to figure this out. i think to myself, feeling a new sense of drive to save my friends.

*MARCS POV*

He's such an ass why does she even like him?! whatever. 

i walk back to my room and strip down until I'm standing there in absolutely nothing. it feels so nice to be out of all those heavy clothes. i breathe a sigh of relief. i need fresh air. i walk over to the balcony in the buff and swing open the doors. aahhh. the sweet cool wind floods my room. 

my mind clears and i forget everything as i walk out into the cool night feeling more free than i ever have in my life. I sit down on the small cushioned chair and stare out into the night.

my thoughts are more with me now and my mind travels to what just happened. 

The second i saw Jake grab Rachels hand i got this strange feeling. I put my head in my hands. and rub my temples.

well that's that then. she didn't protest to them holding hands in front of me, so i wont think about it anymore. its her choice. she is nothing to me but a friend anyway.

i felt relief thinking that i was resolved with this.

then i thought about her blue eyes. and the way she could make anything funny. everything has changed. I might have to avoid her completely. this will not be easy. However, I am resolved to to this. a calm sweeps over me as i exhale and stare out into the night thinking of anything but Rachel. i can do this.
