Within these past few days, I've realized a lot of things.

We shouldn't be afraid to take risks. Sometimes, being afraid could make a lot of complications. It's better to try and see what would happen along the way. Hindi 'yong pinapangunahan natin ang mga bagay na akala nating mangyayari.

I wondered if I've stayed that day and just cuddled with her, without worrying about my inhibitions and what ifs, we could've had a better relationship. Maybe I would know about our unborn child in a different way. Maybe losing our little angel wouldn't happen.

If that is the lesson that God wanted me to learn, well, I've learned it in the most painful way.

But even though we've been through that tragic part of our lives, I'm happy that I still have the chance to turn things around. Hindi ko man mababalik ang nawala naming anak, sapat na ang magawa kong bumawi kay Xylia.

I'm ready to tie myself to her and spend the rest of my life with her and our children.

I'm gonna marry my princess, and make her my queen.

"Shell, please lang. I'm begging you. Tama na!" I clearly heard Kiel's frustration, while looking at Shell. "I already told you na ayoko sa'yo at may iba akong gusto."

My heart's aching for Shell. She's not just my secretary, but also a very great friend that I always cherish. Hindi ko alam kung ilang sakit pa ba ang dapat ipadama sa kaniya ni Kiel para tumigil na siya nang kakahabol sa taong ayaw naman magpahabol.

She just doesn't deserve Kiel. Naging saksi na ako ng kanilang paghahabulan at nagsasawa na akong nakikita silang dalawang ganiyan.

My eyes averted to Xylia who was suddenly pulled by Kiel, closer to him.

Kumuyom ang aking panga habang tinitignan ang pagkakahawak niya sa braso ng fiancée. And why is she even here? She didn't even tell me that she'll go out with Kiel.

"And it is Xylia," Kiel added.

I closed my fists, trying to control myself. Come on, Brendt. Kiel's still your best friend.

"But she doesn't like you so get your fucking hands off my girl," I sternly said before taking my girl back to my arms.

"B-Brendt," Xylia stuttered as she said my name.

I lowered my gaze to her and my jaw clenched. Pasalamat siya at mahal ko siya.

Binitawan ko muna siya at saka nilapitan si Shell upang iabot ang clear book at flashdrive. I know she already wants to leave.

"Take a look at the designs inside it. Make a powerpoint presentation about it. Nasa flashdrive naman ang mga soft copy ng bawat designs so no need to scan it," I instructed her. "Make sure it's done before Wednesday next week. Gusto ko malinis ang pagkakagawa. Do you understand?"

"Yes, Sir. I understand," magalang niyang sabi sa'kin at tumango-tango.

"You may now go back to the company," I told her.

"Okay, Sir," sabi naman ni Shell at huling-huli ko ang pagsulyap niya kay Kiel bago nakatungong umalis.

Muli ko namang binalikan ng tingin si Xylia. Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwalang sumama siya kay Kiel nang hindi sinasabi sa'kin.
