𝟒𝟎 ➵ 𝐞𝐧𝐝

Walking into the dark dance studio, Somi sighed as she switched on the lights and fans. The sad, melancholic music filled her ears as she pulled Taehyun's oversized red hoodie over her head. 

She knew that she should throw every thing that Taehyun had given her away  but she could not bring herself to. She had been wearing his hoodie for sleep ever since the night they broke up. As the sad song was playing from her ear buds, Somi could not help but to find comfort in her ex boyfriend's hoodie. 

It was weird but Taehyun's woody cologne calmed her down as she closed her eyes, visualizing that he was here, hugging her tight. However, that moment ruined when the sound of the door echoed and footsteps padded across the wooden floor. 

Somi looked up and saw Yeonjun and Jackson walking in with smirks plastered all over their faces. She groaned mentally as she did not have any energy to deal with anyone today. She was only here because Akira wanted to announce something and she wanted to dive back into studies that she forcibly left back at home.

"Look, who is alone?" Jackson snickered as Somi glared murderously at him. 

"I told you, my love. If you agree to be with me..." Yeonjun trailed, lifted Somi's chin up with two fingers. "None of this would happened."

"Screw off." Somi cursed as she swatted Yeonjun's hand away and took her ear buds out before placing her phone and them into the pocket of the hoodie. 

"I told you that I will get you, my dear. And I did." Yeonjun smirked as Somi glowered. 

"I am not in the mood for your games, Choi." Somi scoffed as she crossed her hands over her chest. 

"Do you want to know who released that video?" Jackson asked as he smirked at her. 

Curiousity has gotten over the girl as she pondered who is the one who had released the video. Even though it was badly recorded, Somi had an idea that the video could be edited but she knew that the voices were impossible to edit as it had to take a while to tweak a person's voice. 

"Who?" Somi asked, her voice curt as Yeonjun and Jackson smirked. 

"Us." Yeonjun replied as he walked closer to Somi. 

"Why?" Somi asked tersely as she took a step back from Yeonjun. 

"Well, I want you to be with me." Yeonjun chuckled as he trapped her in between the walls. 

Somi growled as she sucked a deep breath in. This week had been getting worse and worse. The amount of stress and negative feelings were piling in her, causing frustration to pent up even more on her. She was done with every single thing. She was done dealing with Yeonjun for nearly entire of her high school life. 

"Well, screw off! I don't want to be with you! Can't you get it? When a girl said no, she meant no!" Somi yelled before kicking Yeonjun's shin hardly, causing him to groan in pain and doubled over. 

"I-" Yeonjun said as Somi let out a frustrated sigh.

"Taehyun owns my heart from the start... We are childhood best friends..." Somi continued, sighing, feeling tears to fill her eyes as she thought of her and Taehyun. 

"You ruined it..." Somi said, her lips wobbled as she felt her heart burnt with ache. 

Tears filled Yeonjun's eyes as a sudden epiphany struck him. He never know how Somi felt before. Guilt filled him as he now only realised that how much Taehyun had meant to her. 

"If you love me, Yeonjun, you would have let me be happy with Taehyun... I know... Things change now." Somi said as she choke back on a sob. 

The guilt was getting too much for Yeonjun to keep it in. He sighed as he opened his mouth to tell her the truth. He had screwed up way too many times to count and this time, he wanted to make it right. He wanted to get over her as soon as he could and started fresh as friends.
