A break from love, that needed to come. Like this cold clean breeze that blows in the hotness of this polluted spring. The angelic face of yours filled up the lifelessness of my body. Just like this fresh breeze balances the temperature to a perfect degree.
This tree is absent of leaves, leaving it, to the observer, dull. And dull am I by being lost in your love. Since you left, my thirst for admiration showed itself like the leafless branches of this tree.
My soul with your absence is out of life. I am alive, but without the light. Hoping that this spring will give me some delight. But the fall always puts up a fight. Just like you left me without letting me see your beautiful sight. I thought I was flying, with perfect technique, this kite. But I was wrong, because the fall won the fight.
So here in this swing, I let the wind make it swing. 'Cause now I have lost all power within.
