As she stood there
in front of my eyes,
I saw what they called
a creation of The Divine. As if some bright force
hugged my inner self,
like my soul found its light. She ignited my soul
with a fire that lit up my life.
Created gardens where
she took care of the flowers
that made up life. And planted her own flowers
there, in my garden
and stuck their roots besides mine.
As she wished for us to be
together as one.She was a canary
giving sounds of joy out to the garden
and made the flowers bloom. But as a conflict arose,
some evil eyes blew the fire
away, and the light inside
me with it.
Her roots slowly
getting pulled out of my gardenand the pain so severe
that my garden's flowers
cried for hers to come back.As I bled through this pain,
I saw her reflection in my blood,
I turned around, but saw nothing. And the canary sat on my hand,
lifeless, like it needed to fly back
to where she belongs, but is now
empty,as if she never knew home.
