The hunt had gone south.

The boys were too late.

You were gone.

You were dead.

Dean rushed into the trailer to find Sam staring at your bloodied body laying on the kitchen floor. Your eyes still open. Sam's legs gave out on him and he fell to his knees. "We're late," was all Sam could muster out of his mouth. Dean holstered his gun and pulled his brother up. Sam pushed him away. "Its my fault!" Sam growled as knocked things off the counter.

"How could it be your fault?" Dean asked taking his brothers face in his hands. "YN choose to tag along. She choose to be bait. You are not responsible for her choices." Sam pushed Dean away again and looked back at you. Dean watched as Sam knelt next to you and closed your open eyes.

"She told me shed be careful and I promised to keep her safe," Sam whispered and brushed your hair to the side. His eyes raked over your body from head to toe. Your head had a gash and was slowly bleeding but that wasnt what killed you. The huge gash to your stomach and blood loss is what killed you. Sam remembered hearing your scream. "Its my fault. This should have been me but she talked me into going."

Dean was at a loss for words. His brother was slowly breaking apart in front of him. Dean kneeled down and patted sam on the shoulder. "You couldn't have known. Dont beat yourself up over this."

Sam whipped his face and slowly got to his feet. He pulled curtains from the windows and with Dean's help, wrapped you up in them. Dean and sam slowly carried you out and set you in the back of tbr impala and drove off to the middle if the woods where they set up the wood to burn your body.

Your body was carefully pulled from the car and placed on the wood bed. Dean poured gasoline all over your body and the woods and dropped a few matches to start the flame. As the boys watched, sam held back tears and dean watched his baby brother loose the one good thing that was good for him. Once the fire was gone and your body was nothing but ash, the boys loaded back up into the impala and before they drove off sam said, "I was going to ask her to marry me when we got home."
