Hello! This is my newest book, hopefully I'll be updating at least once a week. These chapters are going to remain unedited until the book is finished- so sorry about any misspellings of words/messy sentences without proper punctuation. This book is going to be only angst and fluff- no smut. I'm pretty bad at these A/N things, but I wanted to have this small note before instantly hopping into the book. Enjoy! :)

Something about the way everything ends, never sits right with Zak. He can't help but blame himself for the inevitable demise of everything.

How can he not blame himself though? He perpetrates every argument, says every insensitive thing, never shows love to the people who love him, or just completely ghosts the people who care about him the most

Zak never really knew why he acted this way though; was he scared of commitment? Was he unaware of the consequences that could come from his actions? What causes him to treat others without proper compassion, respect, or something as simple as kindness?

Zak really really feels horrible about the way everything played out with Darryl.

Zak always acted like a child in that relationship. He was always messing with Darryl, arguing over stupid things, not thinking about asking him if he ever needed help or wanted something to eat.

Zak knew a combination of all of those things was enough to tear apart their entire relationship, but he really wanted to know where everything fell apart.

Did Darryl form trust issues from the trolls and memes? Did Darryl feel neglected? Was Darryl truly that unhappy with Zak?

After the day Darryl dumped him, Zak reflected on the person who he was at that point in his life. Zak knew there was some good memories, but nothing to erase all the bad ones.

The first ever meeting, the introduction was an incredibly great memory:

(A/N: Memories from the past are going to be italicized for the sake of clarification, thank u :))

Zak was walking downtown, one hand in his baby blue hoodie pocket, the other clutching his phone.

He had earbuds in, the volume almost full blast, probably enough to make him lose his hearing by the age of thirty; but that's never stopped him before.

The song was from Spotify's random shuffle, and Zak was really feeling the song.

Other than the song blaring in his ears, he was also scrolling through twitter. There wasn't anything all that interesting on his timeline, but he would occasionally like or retweet a tweet he found funny.

He was so absorbed by the content on his phone, that he wasn't fully watching where he was going.

Of course he knew how long to walk for, where the sidewalk turns, or other things on the path that he has walked so many times before, but he wasn't exactly watching out for people.

Before too long, he bumped into someone. Now this wasn't a small stumble either, he didn't just bump arms with someone. He full on collided with another person. His head hit the others upper chest, causing him to full on fall back. He landed on his tailbone on the concrete, hard. Luckily he reacted fast enough to put his hands on the ground behind him, so that he didn't keep falling and hit his head.
