Chapter 4

(Kylo's POV)
The next morning I wake up early and look to my left and see Luna still sound asleep curled up in a ball under the cover. I smile and lean over and gently kiss her forehead and get out of bed quietly to go make breakfast for us. After I finish making breakfast I go to go wake up Luna knowing she has to go back to work today. I walk in to the bedroom and see Luna still sound asleep and smile kneeling down next to her and decide to see what she's thinking about.

As I'm doing this I see her as a child playing on Kesal and having fun, then it flashes to when she was taken as a young child and enslaved by Hux. The images continue to flash and I get sad seeing what she went through. "Get out of my head. Stop reading my thoughts." I hear her mutter as she wakes up tiredly. "Sorry. I'll stop." I say. "Yeah sure you will. What's going on today?" She asks rolling her eyes and stretching as she sits up slowly. "Well you are going back to work today." I state.

"Yay." She says sarcastically and gets up slowly. "Want help?" I ask her. "No I think I can get it." She says standing up slowly. I let her and go get her uniform ready for her. When I come back she's already up and moving around looking for her boots. "Here's your uniform and when your finished come out to the livingroom for breakfast." I say setting her clothes on the bed. "Okay." She says nodding as I leave to let her get changed.

A few minutes later she comes out fully dressed and ready for work. "I always loved that outfit on you." I say handing her a plate. "Thanks. It's weird being in it again. Also it's like it's a guy magnet." She says looking at me. "Well they will have to look for someone else to flirt with because you my girl are taken." I say as we get food.

"Thanks. What are we doing today?" She asks again. "We are looking for a permanent place to set up the first order for now till the end of the galaxy." I say. "And do you need me for this?" She questions eating. "Yes we do." I say eating. She just nods and eats. "Are you feeling okay today?" I ask. "Yeah I'm fine. I'm done eating. I'm going to go finish getting ready." She says standing up and starting to leave towards her room. "Not so fast Luna." I say using the force to hold her in place. "Let me go Kylo." She growls trying to move. "I will when you tell me the truth." I say walking to face her. "I told you already." She says looking at me trying to move. "I know you didn't. I'm asking you again. Are you feeling okay today?" I ask her while staring at her.

She just stares back at me sadly. "No I'm not." She says starting to break down. I let her go and catch her in my arms as she falls. "What's wrong?" I ask holding her against me and in my arms. "I miss Vega. I miss her. I miss not hearing her voice when we argue and I miss having conversation with her. I just miss her. She was the only family I had left from Kesal. I was so looking forward to her seeing the baby and now that won't happen because she's gone." Luna says crying into my shoulder.

I hold her against me and rock her softly. "Shhh I'm so sorry babe. I know what it's like to lose someone so close to you." I say rocking her. Luna just cries and wraps her arms around my neck. I let her and hold her letting her calm down slowly and feel the living human inside her force energy. "That's weird. I know there's a child in her but it has a strong force energy. Like mine. But I'm not the father of this child. How is this possible?" I say in my head.

I feel Luna's body relax and stop shaking meaning she's calm down and done crying. "Ready for the day now?" I ask her. She just looks at me and nods drying her eyes with her arm. "Kay lets go." I say helping her up then grab the rest of my uniform and was out with her. We head to the conference room and go over a place where we can set up permanently. "What about here?" She asks pointing to a planet next to Endor. "It has everything we need and no one lives on it." She adds showing us.

"Are you sure it's safe? We should send some people down to observe the planet before we set up. I don't trust the child's decision." One of the commander says. Before I could move or say anything the commander is choking on an invisible hand. I looks at my hand and realize it's not me then look at Luna and see her hand outstretched. "The planet is safe. We go there and set up base. If you don't like it I can have you thrown into space or I could kill you myself. Or you could agree with me. Which option do you want." She growls. "I'll agree with you." He says through gasps of air. Luna lets him go and then storms out of the meeting. I dismiss everyone and go find Luna.
