Love, Gangs, and Vampire Bats

Chapter 1

I'm in a bar... I'm 16... This is very much so illegal, but nobody cares. This bar is called Bricks, and it is owned by a gang. A gang called the Vampire Bats. A gang that I happen to be apart of...

I'm drinking bourbon. Nobody cares that I'm underage in fact all of my friends drink, and they are all my age. Speak of the devil. Four very loud individuals enter Bricks. Two of them shouting at the top of their lungs.

"Hey look it's Hunter!" Taylor shouts. I roll my eyes at her childishness. I didn't even look at my friends. I just kept sipping on my drink. I knew they would come over why bother getting up. That's just far too much work.

"Hunter look it's us your best friends!" Jay shouts. Jay and Taylor are both very bold and loud people. Grayson and Marshall were not as quiet as me, but they weren't loud. They were a nice middle.

Taylor punched me in the shoulder. I turned to look at the short girl as she sat down in the seat next to me. She has pale skin, and freckles litter her entire body. Her hair is long and slightly wavy. It's a beautiful natural shade of red, but it was her eyes that really stood out to me. They were a deep bright green color that really popped from her face. If I was attracted to women I'd be head over heels for her. Oh and yes you heard me right I'm not attracted to women. I'm hella gay.

Jay sat on the other side of Taylor. He had on his usual wide and cheerful smile that seemed to brighten up the whole room. His dirty blonde hair was a mess like always. He was tan and had dimples. His eyes were a wonderful light gray color.

Grayson sat on the other side of me. He raised an eyebrow up at Jay, who almost just fell out of his chair. Grayson rolled his dark brow eyes and pushed up his glasses. He has shoulder length carmel colored hair. He's slightly tanner than Jay, and he also has a manlier face than Jay.

Finally Marshall sits down next to Grayson. Now Marshall was a god, and we were opposites he has dark hair and I have light. He has beautiful green eyes I have grayish blue. He's ghost white, and I'm tan. He's lovely, and funny, and beautiful, and fun, and perfect... And I'm not. Welp enough of the self hatred!

I continue to sip on my bourbon as I watch my friends act like a bunch of retards. Soon my drink is gone and I get another. Then Grayson speaks up.

"Did you guys hear that they are moving us all to a new school."

"Haha suckers not me I've never gone to school" I say while smirking. My family well... They never sent me so I never went. Everyone else did occasionally. Who really needs to be educated when you're in a cool gang like us?

"Well actually from what I heard Hunter you will be moved to this new school with us. You're smart enough to fit in and they think you have a lot of potential." My face falls. I've never went to school why would I now. Oh god this is going to be a train wreck I can feel it.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Hunter has to go through hell with us this year!" Jay screams as Taylor starts to laugh so hard that she too, almost fell out of her chair. Marshall just smiled, and Grayson just stared at Jay and Taylor like they had both grown second heads, as they both fucked around.

Jay and Taylor started to wine about being bored, so we decided to leave. We were all walking around outside, when Jay asked Grayson if he would hold his jacket. We all have gang jackets that we always wear. They were black leather jackets. On the back of the jacket it said " Vampire" on top and "Bats" on the bottom in red lettering, and in the middle of the jacket is has a brown vampire bat with a drop of blood behind it.

As soon as Grayson kindly took the jacket from Jay. Jay sprints off and starts to climb a tree. I smile and run up to join him. Soon enough we are all in the tree. We were all pushing each other and almost falling. Grayson, who was still holding Jay's jacket, was the only one who wasn't in the tree. He was instead leaning against the base of the tree telling us to careful. What a fucking mom.

Before we knew it the sky was turning different shades of red, orange, yellow, and pink. We got down from the tree and started heading towards the trailers.

I start to pick at my hands. This is something I do when I get nervous. I take a deep breathe and ask the question that I sadly have to ask everyday.

"Who can I stay with tonight." My parents are not really the best of people, so I can't stay with them. Instead I move around and stay with a different friend everyday. I have clothes at all of their houses and keep my phone charger on me. That's about all I have. Except for my instruments. I love music, and I keep all of my instruments at Bricks. In a spare backroom.

Marshall slaps his hand on my shoulder. He smiles at me showing his perfect teeth. God he is so hot!

"Bro my dad finally just got back from his assignment. You can sleep over at my place." He lifts his hand off my shoulder and I can't helo but want to grab his hand and place it back. I already miss his warmth.

"Where was your dad Marshall." Grayson asks. Marshall shrugs his shoulders.

"No clue Grayson. You know my dad he'll leave me for months without telling me. He leaves as soom as the gang gives an assignment." Marshall sighs.

I just wanna turn and give him a hug. I know that Marshall and his dad don't have the best relationship. I mean how could they if Mr. Cage is always leaving to do stuff for us Bats. Don't get me wrong we are all greatfull that he is a loyal gang member, but it would just be nice if he was actually there for Marshall.

Marshall and I wave goodbye to Taylor, Jay, and Grayson as they head their separate ways. Then we walk towards Marshall's trailer.

When we walk inside we don't see Mr. Cage. We start to walk around the trailer only to find him...packing.

A/N- Heyo here is the first chapter :) I'm really excited for this story and I've already written down up to 8 chapters so I hope you guys are excited too XD
