Miracle

The Hunt

The doctor came out of the wash to see Miracle asleep on the couch with a book in her hand. She looked so tranquil in her sleep, he noticed she tossed and turned as if she were having a nightmare. The doctor quickly walked up to her to comfort her. He rubbed her back and hugged her tightly, she relaxed a bit and snuggled into the doctors chest, he could feel her breathing short quick breathes. The doctor stared off into space and eventually fell asleep.

When he awoke Miracle was no longer laying beside him "Miracle" the doctor called, she didn't answer. The doctor became slightly frantic "Miracle" he said louder. He looked for her in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom she was nowhere to be found. He walked outside frantically calling her name. The doctor wan now scared "Where is she?" He asked himself. He walked back into the Tardis and checked  his bedroom again. He noticed something under his bed, a shoe, a small black shoe, releaf flooded the doctor as he looked under the bed to find Miracle snoring softly "Thank God" he whispered. She was snuggled into a tight ball, she hugged her legs close to her body. Her pig tails were undone and she only had one shoe on. "Miracle" the doctor called shaking her softly. She opened he eyes slowly and sniffled "I had a nightmare" she said coming out from under the bed. She rubbed her eyes and yawned "About mum" she took her other shoe off.

"It was just a dream" he said trying to comfort her.

"No. It wasnt. It was real." She said tears in her eyes

"Its okay sweetie, as long as I'm here you'll be safe. I promise." He smiled "You should go wash up, we have a long day ahead of us" he said kissing her forehead.

"Okay" she grinned

Miracle came out of the bathroom wearing with a dark purple dress with small white flowers on it, it came up above her knees but she had black leggings under. She wore black shoes and her hair was up in a bun. "You look adorable" the doctor said.

"Thanks" Miracle twirled around "So we're we going?" She asked

"Well I was thinking about what you said, about how you and your mother had a small flat in central London, and I thought why not just start there"

"Sounds like a great idea but mum and I didn't move there untill I was seven. And if I'm correct I'm only about two years old at the moment" she said

The doctor sighed "What do you propose?"

"Well, I was thinking we should start by finding Ivet, she was very helpful to mum and sometimes we stayed there two nights in a row." She proposed

"Ivet?" He was confused

"Yeah, mum was in Sheffield before I was born and Ivet helped take care of her. Ivet used to be a nurse, they met in Italy." She explained

"Umm." The doctor was still confused, more now than before.

Miracle sighed "Just trust me" she plugged some coordinates into the Tardis. The Tardis engines roared,  Miracle grinned "Let the hunt begin"
