"Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!", that was me dying of severe pain.

I don't think any other 13 year old has gone through so much in his/her life! I still am not sure why I am alive, why didn't I suicide?

You must be thinking, either something traumatizing must have happened or this kid is stupid, underappreciating the fact that she is alive.

My name is Lisa Elizabeth Alexandra Hamilton. But I think, everyone else in their head calls me, 'The traumatized girl' after they hear what happened to me.

It all started 4 years ago when I was 9. My parents, Jennifer Hamilton and Jordan Hamilton were co-owners of a large jewellery business in the town. They were very loving and spent most of their free time with me. They often got me presents and took me to parks and picnics. They made quite a lot of money to support the family and maintain a huge house. I loved them, both. I remember the icy blue eyes of mom and dad, the last time I saw them. The warmth when they hugged me, is something I will forever remember.  I thought I was leading the best life with my supportive parents and friends at school.

That evening I was supposed to watch a movie with them at night and have dinner together. I waited, waited and waited. I did not hear the doorbell ring. I was scared and the thought of them disappearing just made me more tensed.  I was all alone that night waiting for their return, which technically never happened. The old lady who ran the house, the man who helped my dad with his taxes and the other few workers who helped run the house tried to calm me but I just kept crying all night.

Never did I see them again. Soon, all the workers vacated the house after the order of my aunt, the only other family member who lived in the country, somewhere in the northern district. She was now the owner of the property and all the other assets.

"Aunt Katherine!", I remember crying to her. Aunt Katherine was a dark fat woman with long black hair. Her grey eyed seemed to freak me, but she seemed caring. "Aunty, where have mama and papa gone?? It has been long since I saw them last. I want to see them!"

"Oh sweetie, don't cry! "

"Aunt Katherine, it has been very lonely here! Now that all the helpers and workers are gone it will be more lonely. Will I be staying at your place? It would be a nice change talking to my cousin Clara!"

"Was anybody talking about me?? " a rather angry and scary voice said, opening the door. It was from Clara. She was not the same Clara I had known, she had changed. She was a tall girl for her age. She was a 16 year old that time. She wore a red shirt and a beautiful white leather mini skirt. She had a dark tint of red lipstick. Her straight, short blonde hair and her fair complexion made her quite scary.

"Look, Lisa. I want to get this straight. My mother is too nice and sweet for you. I shall convey the message that we have come here to convey to you if she finds it hard", Clara said.

I was confused and looked at Aunt Katherine who said nothing back, finally took courage to tell something other than 'you do know I love you and care for you'.

"Lisa, your parents were not found even after several searches made by the police. I know this is extremely hard for you to accept! As your mother's sister, I love you but there are some things that I can not do to please you even if I want to.",  Aunt Katherine said.

"What are you trying to say??", I yelled at the two of them who were taking way to long to convey the message.

"What we are trying to tell you, Lisa is that we love you but--", "You are now considered to be an orphan and will be put in an orphanage adoption home", Clara said quickly cutting Aunt Katherine. For a minute there was silence. I did not say a word.

"What? Aunt Katherine, Clara! Why? Wh-? Why can I not stay at your home?", I asked almost bursting into tears.

"Because there is no space for you at our home", Clara said with attitude. "I know that we live in the seventh, no wait the biggest house in the town, but either you go to the orphanage or work at our home as a servant. See Lisa, we can let you in our home but my dad and I know mom way too well, she will end up treating you better that you deserve."

I was in shock, I burst crying. They left, without caring for me and before I knew, I was in an orphanage.."
