Part 2 Chapter 10: Black Hand

Black Hand's Pov)

I was so angry,our cargo had been damaged. I need them to be safe it was my duty. I sighed looking in the mirror. I had pushed back all the pain I had let surface and put the mask on.

I was going to see Apple...

Walking down the halls I got a salute every time I passed a guard. Not even the inmates glared or snarled at me.

This surprised me I guess it's the look. I had waved to apple,but I'm assuming she thought I was a creep. Oh well. I stopped at the cell. Her eyes were horrible blood shot and her jumpsuit had white salt stains from tears as she crossed out symbols.

Had she planned an escape before I showed up. Why was she erasing it? I tapped my gold ring on the bars pulling her out of her trance.

"What do you want!" She spat at me. Her hair was beautiful. "You have bail in a week,you and your friend will join me and the tuxedos to retrieve the others." I state emotionlessly.

The metallic voice of mine ringing out to her. She scrambled up slamming her hands on the bars anger in her eyes. "Why are we on bail? Who paid?" She asked furiously.

"I did." I answered carefully. She narrowed her eyes. Her eyes were glued to the burned out holes. They were stamped my demonic symbols.

"Flare them." She ordered me. Her alpha tone ringing in my ears. I don't listen however. "No need to do that Black Hand." I turned to see Daylight.

I smiled under my mask. She was a good friend,after she told me what her real intentions were for,for the council.

"Apple your paperwork is being signed along with Charisse,I promise you'll get what you need back,weapons will be returned to you." She smiled at Apple.

I turned back to Apple raising an eyebrow. I knew she couldn't see my face so I didn't have to worry.
"No need for the clothes,I just want my knife." Apple muttered.

"Oh that's right!" Daylight laughed. "Silly me,I forgot you showed up when you were fourteen,I'm sure you'll like your hat though." She sighed wiping a tear from her laughter.

Daylight your a bitch. I thought to myself. Even though we came to good terms,but she didn't have to do this to Apple.

"Is everyone getting bail?" Apple asked raising an eyebrow as we entered the cell. I leaned against the wall crossing my arms. Apple however stood strong looking up at the tall Daylight.

"Yes everyone of you pack will be bailed,but you will not return to your old HQ." Daylight smiled warmly. I'm guessing she was fond of Apple.

I was too. "I can't explain much to you,since I am on some uncalled for business,but here-" Daylight handed Apple a piece of paper.

"-Don't worry about suddenly leaving with Charisse you have free rights to the shops in the town when you leave,meet me here and stay there for as long as you can." Daylight stated lifting her fingers off of the card as Apple took it from her.

"Don't worry about contact I'll show up three weeks from when you arrive there,Black Hand will be bailing out the rest." Daylight smiled at me.

I felt my hands quiver. She was a powerful Succubus. Apple looked up at Daylight confusion and suspicion in her eyes.

"Have a good day Apple." Daylight chuckled darkly as she left the cell me slowly following behind. Apple looked at the card then to me. I rose my hand and did the same wave before....

Apple's Pov)

I looked down at the card. It was an address,and code. The code must be for money. I just had to wait one week,then i'd be able to see my dad again. I'll see everyone.
