Why Us?

Sight

     "Babe," I said. I was eight months pregnant now.

     "Yeah?" He asked with his arm around me. 

     "I have a surprise," He said.

     "What is it?" He asked.

     "Well, I've been working for a while and we are going to get you surgery and try to get your sight back," I said. Tears filled his eyes as I hugged him. 

     "Really?" He asked excited.

     "Yes," I smiled. 

     "Oh my Irene," He said. 

      Soon I was sitting in the waiting room. Suddenly a doctor came out.

      "Miss Aphmau, he's waking up," The doctor said. I got up and went to the room. I smiled when I saw him covering his eyes.

      "Aaron?" I said.

      "Aph," He uncovered his eyes and smiled at me. I ran and hugged him. He kissed me and began to cry.

      "I can see your beautiful face," He smiled and put his hand on my cheek. I smiled and began to cry. 

      "I love you," I smiled.

      "I love you too," He said putting his other hand on my belly. He kissed my belly.

      "We have to run some tests just to check his sight," The male doctor said.

      "Ok, when will I be able to take him home?" I asked.

      "Tomorrow if the tests go well," He said.

     "Ok, thank you," I said.

     "Unless you want to spend the night in the waiting room you can go home and we will call you in the morning," The doctor said.

     "Ok," I said. I grabbed Aaron's hand.

     "I'll be back in the morning," I said. I smiled and kissed him.

     "Alright," He said smiling.

     "I love you," I smiled. 

     "Love you too," He said. I went home and went to bed. I was going to have Aaron back!
