I stood holding Alex in the middle of the night. I gently rocked him back to sleep. I sat him down in the crib and went back to bed. I lied down next to Aaron and felt his arm go around me. I smiled and went to sleep. I woke up to see Aaron getting ready for work. He looked at me and smiled. He walked over and kissed me.
"I love you, Babe," He said putting his hand on my cheek.
"You look so good with a tie on," I smiled and pulled him in by his tie. He smirked and kissed me again.
"I've got to get to work," He smiled as I let go of him.
"Alright, bye," I smiled as he picked up Alex and gave him a kiss on the forehead. After I heard him leave I got up and went to the bathroom. After I washed my face I walked out to hear Alex crying. I picked him up and took him to the changing table. I changed his diaper and walked downstairs holding him in my arms. I let the dogs into the backyard to pee and put food in their bowls. I walked over to the living room and set Alex in a crib I would put him in. I made eggs and bacon and sat down. I fed Alex and began to eat my own food. I sat there and turned the tv on. I watched The Office for a while.
When Aaron got back we spent some time together watching tv and cuddling on the couch.
"Babe," He said.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"I love you," He smiled.
"I love you too," I said as he kissed me.
