❥❥❥ Chapter 5 ❥❥❥ 

 It's been around 35yrs since I've seen or heard from Elijah. He still wore a handsome face I have always remmembered. He sat with such poise that I had to shift my posture to look similar.

"We need to talk," Elijah said getting to the point.

"Didn't take you for being so blunt,"  I commented  "--you being so noble and patient"

He gave me a flat but playful look "Are you mocking me?"

"Maybe" I smirked

"Only you would mock an Original" Elijah said with a chuckle

"Well when that Original happens to be your life long Best Friend, who cares." I said shrugging it off. "--And yes I would mock an Original because why not, I don't fear you or your family." I said blatantly

Elijah looked as if he wanted to comment but changed the subject, "As you are most likely aware, a new doppelganger has emerged." I nodded
"And Klaus will soon follow" I said a bit too sour. " I'm Guessing you'll want to help him, Do to the fact that you have both the Doppelganger's location and the moonstone."

"Not quite" he muttered, his expression almost Deplorable. "Elena and I have come to an arrangement. I keep her friends safe and make sure she is Unharmed  untill it's time to break the curse."

"She's willing to die?"I questioned in a skeptical tone.

"For the ones she loves, yes." I snorted

" You think thats pathetic"He commented.

"She's giving up too easily, No fight." I began "--If she was smart she would pack her stuff and run."

"You and I both know its not ideal to run from my brother" Elijah argues giving me a pointed look.

" Yet I have made it this far" I stated as Elijah gave me a look of Disbelief. " --Still Giving up is pathetic"

" Wouldn't you do the same, if it ment your family's safety" Elijah asked

"Me and my brother." I began stressing the fact that I refused to call Damon my brother. "--We don't work that way. If you threaten one of us you threaten the both of us, we will fight till the threat is eliminated"

" Getting yourself killed in the process" Elijah added

Rolling my eyes "We've survived this far." I stated flatly

"Anyways I'm guessing my Brother and Damon don't know about this deal," I said changing the subject once more. "Not that I'm aware" he stated

"which is why your here." I said

"I need  you to make sure your brothers don't do anything stupid." He stated. I decided to let go of the fact that he said 'Brother' with an (s) indecating more than one.

Hesitating I warned him "I can't guarantee that. For the two of them are infactuated with Doppelbitch,--I don't know if you've met Damon for he doesn't act to kindly to threats or things that he wants"

"I figured as much when he staked me with a wooden stick" He muttered bitterly. I sighed hoping that Damon wouldn't try to go against Elijah Again. For how much I hate him I wouldn't be able to cope with his death.

As Elijah noticed my shift in attitude he changed the subject knowing I loved my brothers no matter what

"I assume you have yet to tell them the truth of the curse" He asked

" And I won't be telling them... If they know the truth they'll have more reason to stand Against Klaus, getting themselves killed in the process"

"Or maybe it'll make them realize how much of a threat he really is," Elijah suggested "Niklaus is dangerous enough as it is, the last thing we need is for him to grow more powerful" Elijah revealed

"--and yet you want to help him break the curse" I stated confused

"I have a plan of my own," He replied

"Care to elaborate" I asked casually sipping my coffee

Elijah smirked knowingly "Nice try Faye" he began but frowned "are you sure you want Nik to find you? last time we spoke you were running. with every reason to not look him in the eye again" He commented 

" Correction Avoiding not running.   --And we both know for me it's not ideal, but for Stefan I must. and plus How soon is it gonna be till I face him, or maybe I've already have I just didn't know it. We both know Klaus's tricks 'lijah." I said with uncertainty

My thoughts were scrambled when I got home. Elijah's question replaying in my head.  Klaus is already finding his way into my mind.

But what would I do, if I came face to face with Klaus?

I haven't seen him in fifty years. The last time we spoke..... wasn't decent. The thought of him infuriated me. Maybe Elijah was right, maybe I should pack up and leave.

I sighed running a hand through my hair and pacing around. Natalia walked in, though I already informed her of my conversation with Elijah, I couldn't keep calm.

" Relax Faye, chances are he skips introductions and heads straight for Elena." she commented taking a seat on my couch.

" I know, I know" I sighed "--But haven't you ever thought that maybe we weren't ignoring Klaus sucessfully. We know his tricks with witches, changing bodies till he's not recognizeable. 50 years seems like a lie, Klaus likes to travel, adventure and explore. Maybe I've talked to him but haven't realized it yet" I rammbled

Natalia stood up in concern, stopping me from pacing around " Maybe so, but Faye your already letting him get into your head. If he comes, he comes we will both stand strong and fight him. Me for you and you for Stefan and Damon." she stated strongly

I hesitated but nodded, went to sleep.

 Faye stood by the study curious to what her Boyfriend and Guy bestfriend were talking about secretly. Klaus and Elijah grew secretive in the past month. While Klaus became more ruthless Elijah became more private and falsely busy.

"He''ll end you and Faye....Don't you still care about her brother?" Elijah questioned. Wondering for why his brother went from about to propose to his Girlfriend to ignoring her and sleeping with a bundle of sheets seperating them.

"Love is a vampires greatest weakness, Fayelena is nothing but a distraction and a waste of space."Klaus began "--Perhaps a decoration too" He suggested

"You don't mean that-- You love her"  Elijah muttered, but was cut of by a Teary eyed vampire speeding in and Slapping his brother in the face. He recognized her to be his Best friend and His brother's girlfriend. She took one last glance at him and Vamp sped away.

Elijah turned to Klaus, studying his sad expression. For Klaus truly loved her, but wanted to protect her from Mikael

"You really do love her... You knew she was listening" Elijah stated

"Love is a Vampire's greatest weakness brother, for her loving me will get her killed, she needs to survive move on and live freely of me and our dark past" He replied sadly

"If you love something you must let it go, brother promise me if you ever find yourself upon Faye you are to keep your mouth seeled about this"

"I promise,brother" Elijah muttered turning to the door  "-- But remmember If that something loves you just as much it will come back, for that kind of love you and Faye share will never die."

So this chapter talks more about her past..........yes Klaus is the love intrest (so typical) but Klaus is sexy af. and amazing soooooo yeah
