𝓦𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝓨𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓛𝓸𝓿𝓮 ♥ 𝐿𝓊𝓀𝑒 𝐻𝑒𝓂𝓂𝒾𝓃𝑔𝓈

𝟚𝟜

i was now 38 weeks pregnant and i had 2 weeks give or take until Avery is here. my bladder is no longer holding anything seen as i go to the bathroom a hell of alot more than anything. yesterday was my doctors appointment and she warned me that because of where Avery's head is, there's rest room for my bladder...thanks Ave...thanks.

Avery's head was now in my pelvis and making less room for my bladder....which sucked, ive also been restless and getting random bursts or energy or exhausted alot more, my breasts were leaking colostrum which is precursor to breast milk...my breasts were so much bigger than ever before and hurt. the Braxton hicks were more intense and i passed the mucus plug which confused me, but Dr. Williams told me that i was dilating but doesnt necessarily mean i was going into labor and that it could be days or weeks away, and i was also having vaginal discharge that was tinged pink and again Dr. Williams said that's completely normal because the blood vessels in my cervix ruptured and she told us that i could be coming face to face with Avery pretty soon.

once Luke heard that he was on the phone with his parents and they were on there way here. i was home with the girls while Luke ran to the store to get ready to eat meals that all i had to do was throw in the microwave or oven. ive been baking alot more and putting them away for snacks. i hated to bake so for me to randomly get the urge to bake said alot.

Natalie was making a list of our favorite take outs so i could call them for food, Luke was still gonna be here for a few weeks after Avery was born to help me out as much as he can but he had to go on tour around September 25th, but it'd be a couple days before the 25th. it was now August 10th and i couldnt wait until Avery got here.

"how you holding up?" Natalie questioned me as i groaned, "i just want her here already!" they chuckled, "i bet."

"babe im home!" i heard as i smiled, "nursery!" i shouted back as i got everything situated for Avery's arrival. he chuckled as soon as he saw me, "nesting?" i flipped him off as he laughed, "baby relax. dont over do it."

i rolled my eyes, "i know Luke. its not my fault that i got random burst of energy!" he shook his head smiling, "has she been like this all day?" he questioned the girls who nodded, "she's been repacking her hospital bag at least 3 times..."

he laughed as he walked over and took the onesie's out of my hands and pulled me over to the door, "alright mommy to be, time for you to relax." i groaned, "i dont wanna!" he smirked at me as he got infront of me and helped me down the steps, "my parents on the plane now by the way." i nodded, "good because from what Dr. Williams said, i could go into labor in a few days. plus im already dilating and at 70% effaced."

"yeah i dont know what that means." he said shrugging as i sighed, "it means that im 70% effaced, all effaced means is that my cervix is thinning out. if i reach 80% then im about to give birth basically, and 100% means my cervix thinned out fully and i deliver. right now as of yesterday, i am 70% so im three quarters of the way to give birth." he nodded as Natalie frowned, "that is so confusing."
