Chapter Five

After several minutes, Duchess found almost all the pieces of the book. She jumped out of the fountain and walked towards her room. She was soaking wet and have mud on her uniform.

“Eww. What's that smell?” a girl said when Duchess was passing by her.
“She's so dirty.” one girl said.

Duchess sat on her seat when their professor arrived.

“Miss Duchess? What happens to you? You looked so messy and dirty?” the professor worriedly asked.

“I... I accidentally slipped on the fountain.” she lied.

Mammon and her classmates looked at her. Duchess just looked down.

“Go to the comfort room and fixed yourself okay. Be careful next time.” the professor said.

Duchess stood and walked out the room. While she was walking towards the comfort room, she heard noises of some girls.

“Hi, Duchess.” someone said as she passed by a huge crowd of girls.

She looked at the crowd and saw a guy with pink curly hair smiling at her.

“A--Asmodeus right?” she asked and the guy just nodded.

“Where are you going? And why do you look so dirty?” Asmodeus asked and went near her.

“I slipped on the fountain. I'll be going to the comfort room to wash up.” she said and was about to walk away when Asmo blocked her way.

“Here. I got this on a mall. Wear this. This will definitely suit you.” he said and smirked at Duchess.

Duchess opened the bag and saw a red strapless dress.

“Oh… I--- I can't have this.” Duchess said and returned the dress.

“Why? You don't like this? I could ask someone to get a new one.” Asmo said while staring at her.

“You don't have too. It's okay. I'll go ahead.” Duchess said and walked away.

Duchess went inside the comfort room and started removing the mud on her uniform.

'First, my dad's book was ruin and ripped into pieces, now I can't remove this stupid mud.' she thought.

When she was done, she went out. Suddenly she bumped into someone.

“Miss, sorry. Are you okay?” a voice said.

'He sounds like an angel...' Duchess thought and slowly looked at the guy in front of her.

“Yea. I am.” she said and was about to walk away when the guy covered her using his coat.

“What the hell.” she exclaimed.
“You're uniform is soaking wet. Come with me.” he said and dragged Duchess towards a room.

“Wha… What are we doing here?” she confusedly asked.

They entered the room and a lady greeted them.

“Sir Michael, what can I do for you?” the lady asked.

“Do you have any extra uniform for her?” the guy asked while looking at me.

“Yes, Sir. Hold on a minute.” the lady said and went inside the room.

Duchess and the guy were left alone the room.

'This guy... He seems so gentle. Those crystal blue eyes and gold curly hair sorts his fair complexion. Wait... I have to at least thank him.' she thought.

Duchess was about to say something when the lady came out with a uniform in her arms.

“Here you go, dear.” she said and held over the uniform to her

“Thank you.” Duchess stuttered.

She went inside a fitting room near them and wore the uniform.

“Hmm. It fits me perfectly.” she said as she looked at herself in the mirror.

When she went out, she looked for the guy who helped her but the guy already left.

“Hi, Miss. Where was the guy with me a while ago?” she asked but the lady said that the guy already left.

Duchess went back to her class. All of her classmates were looking at her. She quietly went back to her seat and focus on the lesson.

'Should I say sorry?' Mammon thought as he stared at Duchess.
