Chapter Five

Chapter Five:
[Sasuke's P.O.V]
    I looked around and could only see white surrounding me. Where am I? What is this place? Who's hand is this? Oh, it's my own. What's that noise?
    "Sasuke! Sasuke-san! Wake up! Please Sasuke-san!" I close my eyes and open them quickly. I was blinded by the white walls and the light shining at me. I sit up and cover my eyes with my hands.
    "Sasuke-san!" I hear someone yell and I felt them hug me. Judging by the long hair I felt on myself, I'm guessing it's Kit-sama. I hug back and slowly open my eyes while I smiled.
    "Hey, where are we?" I say and look around.
    "In the hospital. You passed out and I brought you here. Sasuke-san, it's consuming you. Your lungs are failing slowly. It's already a quarter full." She explains as we pull away.
    "No. It can't be. How?" I say completely baffled.
    "It must've been from the beginning. Maybe the petals were there but they never caused a problem." She explains and I stay silent.
    Ever since elementary school when we got the same class teacher, I've liked Naruto. He's the only guy I've fell for. Don't get me wrong, I love Kit-sama. She was the first girl I liked but Naruto is just different. He makes me blush and makes me feel happy on the inside. I guess after all these years, I didn't make him feel that way. I should probably just accept my fate. It's getting too late. I'll just die. I can't learn to love someone else, someone who is not Naruto. I looked up at Kit and sighed.
    "I'm accepting my fate. I can't learn to love someone who isn't Naruto. I love him with all my heart but he doesn't love me. It hurts, but this is where my life ends. I can't do anything anymore." I explain and she is shocked.
    "N-No! You can't do that. Sasuke-san, you have a whole life ahead of you! Y-You're supposed to revive your clan with anyone. Y-You're not l-leaving me damn it!" She yells through her tears and breaks down completely. I lean over and hug her tightly and she hugs me back. I pull away after some time and look at her. I wipe her tears away with my thumbs and she stares at me. She kissed my forehead and sighed.
    "I'll get Itachi-san. I'll tell him what's happening and get him here as quick as possible. Don't worry, I won't let Naruto know." She says as she gets up and walks to the door.
    "Thank you, Kit-sama. You're a great friend." I say and she smiles softly but sadly.
    "I'll help your brother revive the Uchiha clan in your honor. As gross as it sounds and all that, but I'll do it just for you." She says and I chuckle softly.
    "Thank you Mina-sama." I say calling her by her real name. She nods and walks out of the room leaving me in the hospital room by myself. I looked around to see if there was anything I could do but all I found was a book. I picked it up from the floor and looked at it.
    "It must be Mina-sama's book." I think and open the book. I began reading the book and my eyes widen.
    "I got back into town a few weeks ago, but I was not registered into school yet. I have to wait a little bit because Tsunade no baa-chan is lazy to do the paperwork so she's making Shizune-san do it. It makes me laugh a little but I'm excited to see him again. We've been together for a year and a half now and I hope he didn't forget me. I hope he didn't cheat on me either. He and I both know what would happen if he did. Naruto nii-chan couldn't stop me either way. I'm too much like kaa-chan and he's too much like tou-chan.
    So, I finally go registered into Konoha High and I start tomorrow! I'm so excited to see my three favorite boys! Naruto nii-chan, Sasuke-san, and Itachi-kun! I plan on seeing during my off period to surprise my little Uchiha." That was as far as it had gotten to and I sat there in shock. I set the book down and laid in my bed waiting for time to pass by. Considering it was going to be a while til Itachi and Kit-sama got her, I fluttered my eyes closed and fell asleep.

    I fluttered my eyes and slowly sat up looking around the room. Kit-sama was laying on the couch fast asleep with her head on Itachi's lap. Itachi was fast asleep as well leaning his head on his hand with his elbow keeping placement. I sat up and looked towards the door as there was a knock. Kit-sama and Itachi started to wake up and look around for the knocking noise.
    "Come in." I say loud enough for whoever is on the other side of the door.
    "Ah, Sasuke-san, you're awake. That's very good." Tsunade-sama says as she walks in and notices me sitting up.
    "Hai. May we do an x-ray of my lungs?" I ask and she nods. She has me get out of bed and follow her into the room where the x-ray is. She has me lay down on the bed and I do as I am told. I watch as she brings the x-ray right over my lungs/rib cage area. She takes a couple of photos and once she's done, she has me get up and walk back to my room as she gets the photos. I walk into my room and lay back down on the bed. I feel the petals coming up and I grab the tub they give to patients who need it if they have the urge to puke. I began puking into the tub and noticed more petals than normal. Before I could say anything, another wave of petals came rushing up my throat and I hurled it into the tub. When I finished, I wiped my mouth and put the tub back on the table. Kit-sama took the tub and dumped it in the toilet. She flushed and washed out the tub. Itachi got up and sat in the chair next to the bed. He grabs my hand and I squeeze his hand. Tsunade-sama came into the room and we all looked towards her.
    "We have the pictures and I know you won't be surprised with how they probably look." She says and begins placing the photos on this thing that produces a bright light so we can see the pictures. She turns the light on once the pictures and I heard Itachi and Kit-sama gasp. I sighed and knew that it was now a little bit over half way full.
    "As you can see, Sasuke-san's lungs have been really been consumed by the petals. We've estimated at how long he has to live and would you guys like to know how long he has?" Shizune-san said and we all nodded. She look at Tsunade-sama and she sighs.
    "If it continues at this rate, which mind you it is slow because he is only thinking about Naruto and Naruto isn't here, he will have a week to live. If Naruto were to find him here and he said something that triggered it to become more rapid, he would have about two days to live." She explains and waits for our responses. I sigh and look at Itachi. He had tears streaming down his face as well as Kit-sama. I thanked Tsunade-sama and Shizune-san for their time and they walked out of the room. I looked at my brother and Kit-sama to see what they want to do.
    "So, what should we do?" I say and they shrug. "Well, let's get me out of this hospital. I don't want to be in this hospital room anymore. I want to be in the comfort of my own home. We can make it work. Naruto just won't come over and I know Kit-sama will make that happen."
    "He's got a point. Let's do it. I'll call Tsunade-sama." Kit-sama says walking out of the room dialing her number. I look at Itachi and I can tell he was scared for this plan.
    "Itachi, I'm gonna be okay. Naruto won't come near the house. Kit has that sixth/twin sense in her and can tell when Naruto is following or not." I said and he nodded. Kit-sama came back in with a smile on her face and shut the door.
    "Start packing his stuff and get changed Sasuke-san. Tsunade-sama said it's okay that you come home." She says excitedly. We did as we are told and she goes to do the paperwork for me.

    We were at my house and Kit-sama had left before Naruto noticed that she was gone for a while. She said she would be back but it won't be till later. It was just me because Itachi said he had to go get something important. I was questioning him but he kept insisting I wait till he got home. I was wondering around my house, not being able to do much because I'm not allowed outside. I heard the door open and I ran down the steps to see what Itachi had to get. My jaw dropped at what he had in his hands.
    "You didn't?" I say and rush over to him.
    "I did. Her name is Sora. Sora, this is Sasuke." He says to the kitten and hands her to me. I hold her gently and she begins sniffing me. She purrs and snuggles into me more. I pet her gently and walked to the couch to sit on. Once I sat down, I adjusted myself so I was leaning against the arm rest so I could have Sora laying on my chest. I kept petting her as she looked around to the new scene. She began walking around my chest and I couldn't help but giggle.
    "She's so cute Itachi! Where did you get her?" I ask as I watch her walk around my chest making sure she doesn't fall off of anything like that.
    "The pet shop around the corner. I remember when we walked by and when you saw her, you wanted her so badly. We couldn't get her at the time but we can now. I know you-" He explains.
    "It's okay. She's perfect. Thank you. When I leave, please take good care of her. Promise?" I say and he nods.
    "Promise."
