Chapter Six

Chapter Six:
[Sasuke's P.O.V]
I fluttered my eyes open because I felt something itching or licking my nose. I looked around and noticed I was still in the living room. I must've fell asleep when I was with Sora. Speaking of Sora, she was the one who woke me up with her cute kitten licks. I giggled and began petting her. She purred and I smiled more. I got up and gently placed her on the floor. I walked into the kitchen to find Itachi got her kitten food and I sighed in relief. I grabbed the can and began opening it. I had placed it in her bowl and set it on the floor. I let her eat as I went to make a bowl of cereal for myself. As soon as I sit down and began eating, I hear the door burst open.
"Sasuke-san!" I hear Kit and the door shut very loudly.
"Kit, you need to be quiet. We don't know if he was sleeping." Itachi says and I giggle softly.
"You're so blind. He's not on the couch anymore. He's awake." She says and walks into the kitchen with Itachi following him. "See, I told you."
"Ohayo Sasuke." Itachi says with a smile.
"Ohayo Sasuke-san!" Kit says loudly and engulfs me in a hug. I groaned and giggled as I hugged her back. She kisses my cheek and I blush.
"Kit. That's enough." Itachi says with a hint of jealousy. She rolls her eyes and pulls away. I pretend to whine and pout at Itachi.
"Look what you did Itachi. Now we have a pouty Sasuke, just because of your jealousy." Kit teases and Itachi sighs.
"He's fine. Besides, you're my girlfriend not his." He says and pouts.
"That's true." I say and Kit chuckle softly.
"It's not my fault he's so cute that I just want to kiss his cheeks." She explains and we laugh.
"Well, what's on the agenda today?" I ask.
"How about we do what you want to do?" Kit says
"Can we make onigiri and sushi?" I say excitedly.
"Of course. We'll need to get the supplies first." Itachi says and Kit grabs her bag. "I'll go get it. I need to get some supplies of my own so it's only natural that I go." She explains and smiles.
"I want to go." I say and get up.
"Sasuke, I don't think-" Itachi began but I cut him off.
"If I'm going to die soon, at least let me go outside once more. That's all I ask for nii-san." I say and give him the puppy dog eyes. He sighs and nods. I hug him tightly and rush up to my room. I slip on my shoes and my sweater to hide myself. I ran down and saw Kit waiting for me. She grabbed my hand and we walked outside together.
"Just pretend your Itachi. If anything, put your hood up so no one knows." She says after she pulled us into an alley. I nod and do as she asked. I slipped the hood on and we walked around getting groceries. I decided to get the things for the onigiri and sushi for Kit and as much as she was hesitate, she agreed but told me not to talk to anyone. I was grabbing everything I needed and as I turned around, I bumped into someone falling down dropping my basket. I quickly got up and started packing everything into my basket.
"I'm sorry sir. I didn't mean to bump into you and make you drop your stuff." The guy said and I froze. It's him, Naruto. I keep looking down and grabbing my things. I get up and walk away as quickly as possible. As soon as I got out of the isle, I began coughing and started making my way to where Kit is. Once I found her, he was there too. I quietly walked behind her and wrapped my arm around her. I kept my head down and rested my chin on her head. She turned and I noticed she smiled.
"Sorry, Naruto. I haven't seen him. Neither has Itachi. We don't know where he is. For all we know, he could've left the village. Right Itachi?" Kit says and I nod.
"Itachi-san, you're being fairly quite, are you okay?" Naruto asks in concern and I nod again.
"Well, we need to get going. We have stuff to do today. I'll try and come home tonight. If I'm not home, then you'll find me at the Uchiha complex." She says and hugs him goodbye. We walk away but before I could leave, Naruto grabbed onto my arm and pulled me back.
"If you find Sasuke, please tell him that I'm sorry. I didn't want to hurt him and that I will make it up to him in any way possible. Please Itachi, please find him." He whispers in my ear and he sounds like he's about to cry. I nodded and walked back to Kit. She was in the middle of paying so I began grabbing the groceries. Once she was done, she grabbed a few and we began walking home. When we got into the house, I pulled my hoodie down and sat on the couch after putting the groceries in the kitchen.
"Sasuke-san, what's-" Kit began and saw the tears down my face. She didn't say anymore and hugged be tightly.
"H-He said th-that he was s-sorry. He d-didn't want to h-hurt me. H-He said he w-will make i-it up to me i-in any way p-possible." I manage to say and hug her tightly. She rubs my back and tries to get me to calm down.
"I think he's finally realized he loves you." She says and I gasp. I pull away and look at her in disbelief.
"No. That c-can't be right. M-Maybe he realized that w-what he said was too harsh a-and didn't mean t-to say that s-stuff to me." I manage to say and she shakes her head.
"I think he's finally understood. And I will find out for you. I have to go home today. I have to cook for him and I so he doesn't continue to just eat ramen. Kaa-chan and tou-chan are gone for a meeting with the other Kages so I'm here to watch Naruto and I'm staying once they come back. I'm not leaving. Don't worry, I'll get to the bottom of this." She says and gets up. She kisses my forehead and hugs me tightly.

[Kit's P.O.V]
"Naruto! I'm home!" I shout as soon as I walk into my home. I've missed this place for so long. I'm glad I'm back.
"Onee-chan!" I hear him yell and run down the stairs. I heard a huge thud right after and I ran to see him on the floor holding his leg.
"Naruto! You're so clumsy. How did you survive without me?" I say and help him up. I put him on the couch and began healing his wound. In my family, we have a special power where we can heal people with our hands, called medical ninjutsu.
"I had kaa-chan helping me." He says while chuckling
"So, I heard what you did to my best friend. Why did you hurt him like that? Couldn't you tell he loves you so much." I say and finish healing him.
"I just...what would kaa-chan and tou-chan say if I loved him back?" He asks as he starts to tear up.
"So, you love him?" I say and he nods. "They will love you no matter what. You were their first born. They don't care who you love, as long as they make you happy."
"She's right Naruto. Listen to your sister." Kaa-chan says. We turn our heads to see kaa-chan and tou-chan standing there back from their trip.
"You're our first born. We will never hate you for loving someone. Same for you Kit." Tou-chan says.
"Now go make it right for Sasuke before he dies." I say and he nods. He gets up quickly and runs out the door. I can't help but smile and know that both my brother and my best friend are going to be together happily.
[Naruto's P.O.V]
I ran as fast as I could to Sasuke's house. I have to tell him. He can't leave me. I love him. I got to his house after dodging a few cars that were close to hitting me but luckily I didn't get hit and burst into his house.
"Sasuke!" I shout and hear nothing. I ran up the stairs and into his room. I saw him lying there, his head in Itachi's lap as he tried to breathe evenly. He turned his head and his eyes widen.
"Naru-chan..? What are you doing here?" He says weakly which breaks my heart.
"Itachi, can you leave us? I need to talk to Sasuke alone." I say and he nods. He moves Sasuke to sit up with his back against the headboard and smiles. He left and shut the door as I moved to sit next to him.
"Why are you here Naru-chan?" He asks and I don't say anything. I sit there and look into his eyes.
"I love you, Sasuke-kun. I love you." I say before I kiss him gently. I could tell his was shocked but soon relaxed and kissed me back. I pulled away and he still had his eyes closed. I pecked his lips lightly and he opened his eyes quickly after.
"D-Do you really love me?" He says and I nod.
"I do. I've loved you since we first met. I never realized my true feelings until Kit "dated" you. When she did, I couldn't help but feel jealous that you were with her and not me. When I figured this out, I didn't know what to do after that. I stayed quiet but Kit-sama just knew I loved you. I love you. I love you. I love you, my raven haired teme." I say and he was crying by the end of it. He hugged me tightly and I hugged back.
"Aw! My heart and soul!" We heard and turned our heads to see Kit there recording us.
"Kit-sama!" I say and turn red. She giggles and rolls her eyes. She walks over and moves us away from each other.
"What are you doing?! My Sasuke." I say and pout and she laughs.
"I'm checking to see how he's doing now." She explains and I smile. I sit next to Sasuke and hold his hand. "Looks like it's all gone. You should be okay to go out and everything."
"Really?! That's awesome!" Sasuke says and hugs Kit. I join the hug too and smile. We all pull away and I noticed Kit had tears streaming down her face.
"Kit-sama, what's wrong?" Sasuke says and I wipe her tears away.
"I'm just so happy that you are alive and not dying. I'm just, I'm so happy. I can't believe all it took was some serious talking just to get him to admit his feelings. If I would've known sooner, I would've done this a while ago so I wouldn't have you suffer this much Sasuke-san." Kit says and Sasuke wipes her tears away.
"I'm not going anywhere now. I'm finally happy and we can all be happy now."
