What defines beauty? Is it the chiseled features? Is it the body? Is it the hair? No, to me beauty in its finest was her, it was always her. The way her long waves cascaded down her shoulders and back, in an non-graceful manor, the way her bright blue eyes had always been so big they could put any Disney characters to shame, the way her nose looked, with freckles splattered across it as though they had been thrown onto her face at the last moment, or maybe it was her lips that had me hooked, they were a soft pink they were neither thin or thick, the way those elegant plump lips had formed each syllable like they were the most amazing things to ever leave her mouth, even if she was just yelling at me about leaving the seat up, she was beauty in the most pure form, and now she was gone, the light in her eyes had gone out, her lips were chapped and faded, her hair a complex, entangled, maze of blonde locks, but she still looked so unbelievably beautiful, it was hard to believe I had had her, no matter how short the time, I had loved her truly, madly, deeply for all of the time she had been mine, and I hers.

Months earlier
YouTube rewind 2014 was well underway, they only needed us for a few hours, it was the first time Phil and I had been invited, we were dressed in blue, as were the other you tubers. I recognised all but one, a girl in the corner talking to Carrie. Now I'm not a big believer in love at first sight and all that other bullshit, but the girl next to Carrie made my heart skip a beat, the world seemed to lose focus around the girl, I was sure everyone could here my heart racing. When she suddenly looked up at me, a light flush crossed her face when she realised I was starring at her. Our eyes met, it was like a scene in a film we started walking towards each other, and then she tripped, into my arms and I fell over her on top of me, her face blazing a bright tomato like red.
"Hi." I chuckled as she struggled to get off of me.
"I'm so so sorry! I'm such a clumsy human. I'm sorry! Are you okay? Did I hurt you?" She rambled worriedly as she helped me off of the floor. With a soft chuckle I smiled and said "I'm fine, it was my fault. I'm Dan, by the way." I say sticking out my hand for the girl to shake. Taking it in her smooth small hand she smiled and replied with an easy "Kate,". Grinning we started talking not noticing the audience around us pointing and making bets on when we'd get together. Even if we did notice, we wouldn't have minded, or at least I wouldn't have.
