Chapter 7

4 months later

Luke's P.O.V.

Ashton has been acting weird about Rylie's and my baby ever since he ran away. Rylie seemed to enjoy it, I was kind of creepy.

The elevator doors opened and I step inside. I pressed the button for the top floor, the penthouse, Tori's penthouse. Everyone was there except me and Calum. Calum ran out to get flowers before we all left and I was taking a shower and didn't even know they left.

I played with my lip ring with my tongue until the elevator stopped, dinged, and opened it's doors. I step into the penthouse and found everyone in the kitchen, which was huge.

"Hey, Luke." Tori said from the sink.

"Hey......" my eyes moved from Tori to the counter's seats. The end seat, away from me, held a male in it.........Theo. "What's he doing here?" I ask gesturing towards Theo.

"You'll find out." Megan said taking another sip from her lemonade. She acted so casual and careless at the same time, she didn't even make eye contact with me.

"Oh...." I start looking around. "Where's Rylie and Ashton?"

"Talking in the guest room. They kept on getting into small arguments about random shit." Michael said. Everyone knew everything except me right now.

I walk over to the second to last seat, the only open one, next to Theo. I sigh as I sit down on the black and white striped cushion. Tori hands me a glass of lemonade with a slice of lemon into it. I take a sip hoping Ashton or Calum would enter the room soon. The lemonade is extremely sour, must be fresh. I almost want to spit it out of my mouth, it was that sour.

"So, how's life?" I try to start a simple conversation.

"You'll see, when Cal gets here." Tori says within a second after I end my question.

"It's not my fault, your pregnant!" I hear, what sounds like Ashton, scream. Everyone's heads turn towards the hall of guest rooms.

"It kind of is!" Rylie screams back.

"I'll go check on them." Tori says shuffling out of the kitchen.

I wait for Tori to leave the kitchen, I go over to the kitchen doorway and peer my head around it to see what's happening. By now Tori had gotten them into the hallway.

She started whisper screaming at them. "What the hell are you two doing?" she said facing them.

"She's yelling at me!" Ashton whisper screams back.

"Yeah, because you got me pregnant." Rylie simply states like it's no big deal.

"Rylie, you already got pregnant, by Luke, you can't-"

"Luke and I always used protection. Ashton and I didn't. He was drunk." my mouth drops. "He got me pregnant, I even got the test to make sure." I stand there in shock, I'm speechless.

"I thought you changed Rylie." Tori said.

"I did! I am. I'm dying my hair back and changing my piercings." she said trying to fix this.

"No, I thought you changed. I thought you stopped being a slut and cheating on all your boyfriends. Luke is so nice, and he was so happy to be a father. You ruined it, like you do everything." Tori said walking towards the kitchen shaking her head.

Rylie turned around and look right at me. "Did you hear-"

"All of it." I fought back the tears forming in my eyes.

"I'm so sorry..."

"No, you're not. Tori's right." I said and turned back into the kitchen.

Ashton followed Tori and me back into the kitchen. "Luke, I'm really sorry."

"It's okay....I mean you were drunk. She wasn't, she could of stopped or something." I look down into my lemonade glass.

I heard soft sniffles from the other room, Rylie, the bitch, I thought to myself.

"Rylie leave!" Tori yelled from her chair.

"Fine! Goodbye! Oh, wait this isn't good!" I heard her cry and walk to the elevator. The doors dinged and I heard them open too.

"Oh my god!" Rylie yelled. I heard footsteps coming towards the kitchen.

"Rylie!" Tori stood up and walked towards the elevator. "I said-" Tori gasped. "JAYCI!" she screamed so loudly.

Everyone got up on confusion. We ran to the elevator. Sure enough, Jayci was standing there, in a light blue pea coat.

She looked up at me and the butterflies went crazy in my stomach. A smile stretched across her lips. I smiled back, feeling weak.

"Rylie, leave please." Tori said calmly.

"I'm waiting for the elevator." she said back.

Tori turned back to Jayci. "I thought you were dead!" she hugged Jayci.

"Well, Rylie forced me to. She made me pretend I was dead. She even paid off the news cast! I really just flied back here and waited for you guys to return." my automatic thoughts: I dated a fucking monster! Oh my god!

The elevator dinged and Rylie went to step inside when out came Calum. No one else really noticed him though.

"A lot has happened and changed since you fake died." Tori said. I looked towards Calum and the blue roses he was holding.

"Yeah, a lot." Theo says planting a kiss on Tori's lips.

"Oh, I see." Jayci said with a smirk. "What happened to Calum?"

"He's still here." Cal said, causing everyone to turn around.

"Oh my god, Cal!" Tori says.

"Is it over?" he says softly.

Tori nods slightly. "What?!" I say not even acknowledging it.

"But.....I love you." Cal whimpers.

"I'm sorry, I still love you. I just need Theo right now."

I rub my eyes and I hear the speaker comes on. "This is your captain speaking. We will be landing in New York in ten minutes."

"I can't wait to see Tori!" Calum says excitedly.
