Amari's POV
Malik came back without Raven. I said to him "Malik, what gender do you think is better. No bias."
"Oh, that's easy. Boys."
"How can you say that?!" I said half shocked half amused.
"Guys are better than girls no doubt about it."
"Without us there would be no you." ""God made boys first so were better."
I sat back in my chair and crossed my arms as I said "Well obviously God made the rough draft before the final copy."
"OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" This guy Jackson said "Dude are you just gonna take that?"
"Are you sure you want to go down this road? There's no going back." He said.
"Oh I'm sure. The question is are you?" I said challengingly.
"Lets go then, guys are better because girls are too emotional." "Okay. A, I'd rather be emotional than ice cold and heartless any day of the week. B, Its a proven fact that girls are smarter and more mature even with all the emotions."
"Physically guys are better."
"I beg to differ. Girls have a higher tolerance for pain and I'm also pretty sure any girl at this table could take you right now."
"Including you?" He said with raised eyebrows and sarcasm in his voice.
I leaned in close to his face and said "Especially me. I meant what I said earlier Malik. I'm an orphan with a bad temper. Set me off and you'll see fireworks."
"You wish." He said sighing.
"Whats the matter? Cat got your tongue."
"No."
"Then you're giving up?" He stayed silent and I said "Alright ladies he's given up! We have come to the conclusion that girls are better." He rolled his eyes and I said "Awww..... don't feel bad. I've never been beaten in a debate and I wouldn't expect you to be the first. Especially since you're a guy."
"Yeah, whatever. I'm just a little off my game today. I could beat you with my eyes closed."
"Care to put your money where your mouth is. Tomorrow we have a debate and we'll see if your bite is as good as your bark."
"Your on hotshot. And bring that biting wit with you, you're gonna need it."
"And you're gonna need that cockiness if your gonna come anywhere close to beating me." He stayed silent and I said "Check and mate."
He snickered and said "You're such a nerd."
"And proud of it."
I said smiling at him and he rolled his eyes and said "Geek."
"Whatever."
