Right on Time: Chapter 5

I don't know what to do now. All my homeworks are done and I can't call Kim and Anna since they're busy finishing their own. All this free time is killing me, I kept on thinking about things that should not be thought about. So I went downstairs and saw the three guys still watching the basketball game. I joined them.

"This is basketball, Maxime." Tom said.

"I know."

"Are you serious, you're going to watch?"

"Obviously, if you don't want me to, I can go upstairs."

"Go upstairs."

When I was about to stand up, "Wait. Sit down. Tom's just messing around with you." Aldo told me.

So, I sat down. He even reached me chips so I won't be upset anymore. He's such a cutie sometimes when he's all kind to me.

The evening has to end so we all went to bed.

Saturday night wasn't that long to wait, Kim and Anna came to our house at six. We all got dressed, put on a little bit of make up and we're all done. 

"You're so lucky M. You have a mom who approves that you can party. Not like mine." Kim said.

"You lied to your parents?" I shockingly asked.

"Yeah, I have to. I want to experience this part of my highschool."

"What did you tell them?"

"That I was going to sleep over at your house. So I'll be staying here for the rest of the night if it's okay."

"I can fix your bed later when we get home."

"Thanks Maxie! I owe you a lot."

"Wait wait! Maxime!" Tom called me.

"What is it?"

"Bring this, just in case."

 My brother gave me a pack of condoms. I don't believe him. Why is he like this to me? At this point, I just want to ran away until I find a cliff so I can just jump and die. 

"What the hell Tom!?!?"

"You might need it. Just put it inside your purse!"

"I hate you. So much."

"Let's go girls!!" Anna yelled from the car.

"Oh you're so going to thank me after."

"Bye Tom!" and looked at him as if he's dead to me already. "Bye Mom!! We'll go to the Rack now."

"Bye Sweetie! Have fun okay? I left some duplicate keys to our house in your purse! Don't lose it okay?"

I just shut the door close so I wouldn't see my brother's face anymore. I still can't believe he did that! What the hell is he thinking?! I'm not that kind of girl he thinks I am.

"Anna! Did you see what Tom gave his baby sister?" Kim was giggling already.

"No! Kim, you don't have to tell anyone."

"Even me?! Really? Of course I have to know."

"Fine. He gave me condoms."

"What? Are you serious? How many?"

"Anna, don't! I won't use it!"

"You won't use it? So can I have it?"

"No! I'll give it back when we go home!"

"Okay! But things get so crazy I'll just steal your purse."

"You wouldn't do that."

"Oh, I will."

This goes on and on until we reached the Rack. It's not that far but we chose to ride the car so we'd look cool, or because Anna said we'd look cool. Hearing the music from the outside makes it clear that people inside are having a blast already. Anna parked the car and we all went inside.

"Wow! You three made it!" Karl gave us high fives.

"Wouldn't miss this!" Anna struggled shouting from the loud music.

"Let me introduce you to some of my friends!"

This went on until 12 mindnight. I knew some people but I hardly remember their names because the music was really really loud. The people are already drunk and dancing.

Some are even making out publicly. I'm getting dizzy and I'm starting to realize that I'm alone wherever I go.

I tried calling Kim's cellphone but I had no luck.

"Hey Max! What are you doing here?!" 

Oh dear Lord. Mik's here at the party? What can make this night any worse!

"Hi Mik."

"Why you lucky girl? Who invited you?"

"Karl."

"You know my Karlito, eh?"

"You're Karlito?"

"Duh! He's my boyfriend!"
