DESTINED[Not By Chance But By Fate]

《CHAPTER ONE》

Kassy's pov

They say the excitements of your life truly begins after you've passed the age of eighteen, But fuck that my life is as typical as it was before and I'm twenty two years old,only difference is I have a masters in psychology and the only job I could get is a dead beat bartending job and that sucks considering how I worked my butt off to get it. Nevertheless as my optimistic mom alway says "its only for a short time everything will all work out soon".

I live with my mom in our mediocre house in a small town called casselton. My mom is a nurse at the dential clinic, it barely pays the bills, ever since my dad died we have been struggling and she's the only reason I'm willing to give this bartending thing a shot.

Knock!!! Knock!!! Knock!!!

"Kassy!!!wake up your going to be late for work ",my mom shouted from the other side of my bedroom door.

"Uuuurrrrmmm.......one more minute mom" I croked unwilling to get out of bed.

It has been two weeks since I started working at the thyvoid bar and thrust me bartending is not as easy as it looks but I've mastered it, I've even put some of my therapeutic skills to use and at the sametime made a few friends, eventhough my boss warns "not everyone that walks into a bar with their issues you can solve and be friends with " ,but I'm not stupid I know damn well there are some creeps who take refuge in bars to drink away their problems. When ever I'm harassed by one of these creeps either by argueing or them being weirdly flirty with me, Xander alway has my back he's the other bartender.

"Kassy!!! I said get your ass up!!",mom fussed, so I  got up and made my way to the bathroom to get ready for the rest of my day.

At work things were narmal, with Xander going on and on about his gaming  obsessions and the regulars coming in occasionally for their daily specials. As night crawled in thyvoid got busier and busier. Mines as well as Xander's shift was almost over when a middle aged man about in his early 40s walk in ,his arrogance could be seen from a mile away he walks as if he owned the place, with two other man closely behind looking like their from the military, I could tell the weren't from around here. He walks up to the bar and order his drink.

"Hey I'll  finish up here you can go" Xander  offers so I grab my stuff from the workers lounge and head out.

While walking in the ally I normally walk through  to get home, I scenced as if someone's following me so I started walking faster suddenly I saw the weirdest thing I've ever seen in my whole miserable existence.
It was the silhouette  of something looking like a dog but it was way bigger than a dog.
So I took a few steps back in a reversing manner only to feel my back hit against something hard and muscular, when I turn to look it was one of the military looking men I saw earlier  at thyvoid then another one came from where the dog looking thing went.

I'm  panicking "this cant be happening to me "  I thought.

"What do you want?" ,I asked scared for my life.

Instead  of answering he said aloud "Are you sure she's  the  one boss?"then a man emerged form out of the darkness  behind him, it was the arrogant brute from thyvoid that they were with.

"Leave me alone !!! I will scream" I fussed but I was surrounded there is no way I'll escape this.

"Scream all you want darling, your the key to getting back what truely belongs to me and your little  scream won't help you at all" he retorted suddenly a hand wrapped around my mouth and nose then everything goes dark.
