DESTINED[Not By Chance But By Fate]

《CHAPTER EIGHT》

Kassy's pov

I was awakened by the sweet aroma of cinnamon. My eyes opened to find a warm cup of tea with French toast, eggs and strips of bacon well putted together on a tray next to me on the bed. I was in a bed , In fact I was in the biggest bed I've ever been in. How did I get here?? Was I dreaming??. I observed my surroundings further to realised I was in a room, a very elegant room. The walls and everything else in the room was the same colour, beige and chestnut which fitted the elegant furniture perfectly. There was even a fire place .
'Did I die and went to heaven', I thought.

I couldn't help but stare in awe, then the memories of previous events started coming back to me. How did I get form the dungeons to this fortress??

The last thing I remember was that I was upset and crying. I was crying in Aleczavior arms!!!!! Holy fuck!!!

The worst part is I felt safe and warm with the man that locked me in his dungeon. My wolf enjoyed it, she enjoyed being held by her mate and I couldn't help but feel the same. He was nice to me , he comforted me, maybe Annabelle was right.

I decided to get out of bed and look around the room some more. There where three doors ,one which could not be opened, the other lead me to the most exquisite bathroom I've ever laid my eyes upon . Everything here was far beyond my league and what I was used to, 'so if this if this is a dream I might aswell enjoy it while it lasts' ,I thought.

The last door lead me to a long hallway invaded with beautiful paintings and portraits hanging on the walls. Walking down the hall I was so mesmerized buy the art works that I didn't hear someone approaching me.

"What are you doing out here sweety??",she asked in her sweet high pitched voice startling me.

"Who?... who are you and what are you doing in my dream??",  I asked clutching at my chest where my terrified heart was beating in overdrive.

"This is not a dream honey I'm Amelia....your mate sent me to check on you",she replied with a bright smile.

"Have you eaten ??",she asked roping her arm around mine while leading me back to the room.

"No I was destracted .... it's not everyday a girl like me wake up in a place like this",I said forcing a smile wondering why she was being nice to me.

"Well you have to get back your strength so eat up",she said while giving me the tray of food. I could not refuse food ,considering  in fact starving.

"Not to be rude but why would Aleczavior ask you to check on me.... are you like his assistant",I asked curiously feeling a bit jealous thinking about the fact that she would spend alot of time with him if she is his assistant.  She's definitely gorgeous, her red curly hair matched her hazel eyes and her body was perfectly crafted.

"No dear I'm not and there's no need to worry ,I'm his beta's mate",she said while patting me on the shoulder.

I felt  embarrassed that I was jealous because of that brute. I felt so conflicted I wanted to hate him but the caring side of him he displayed lastnight had me thinking otherwise. My wolf 's voice in my head wasn't much help either,but I can't forgive him that easily atleast I can't allow myself to.

"Can I ask you something??",I asked wiping my mouth after finishing the last piece of food on the tray.

"Ofcourse you can I know we don't know each other well yet but you can talk to me about anything ",she replied a little too excited making me a bit nervous.

"Did you and your mate immediately upon meeting fell in love??",I asked regretting it the moment I finished.

"It took a while for us to finally say it but we knew from the day we met",she replied.
