DESTINED[Not By Chance But By Fate]

《CHAPTER THREE》

Kassy's pov

The moment she finished her sentence and my mind registered what she said, my heart dropped and my head felt light 'this can't actually be true ',I thought.

"No that's not true,....I  refuse to believe  this" ,I  said  shaking my head.

"Honey I'm so sorry but its the truth....we did this to protect you", she rumbled on trying to convince me.

"We.... we who??", I asked her on the verge of crying again.

"Your real parents, me and Eric.... kassy you have to listen to me you need to know the truth", she said resting her forehead on mine.

"Ok.....at this point I have no other choice anyways" I replied with self pity. If someone had told me I'd be in this position a week ago I would've laughed at them, I've never thought something like this could have happened to me.

"Your mom and dad were two different people from two different worlds and they found love in each other....", she started with a sad look on her face.

"...your mother and I were friends, she was a witch like me and your father was a wolf", she said while looking deep into my eyes.

"Witch........Wolf......",I whispered  to myself dumbfounded. I want believe I'm actually hearing this.

"Yes kassy these things are very much real and your uncle he's a wolf , everyone here is a wolf and most likely everyone you'll meet further on will either be wolf or witch .....we will service this I promise ",she said as if she was trying to convince me.

"I know I saw him ..... I thought I was imagining things"I responded softly.

"Your parents love was forbidden their two tribes did not see eye to eye, they weren't enemies that avoided each other at all cost , a relationship between the two was not accepted ",she said and looked down on me with teary eyes.

" When you were born war almost broke loose your parents were shunned from their tribes even your father, an alphas son they met in an terrible accident while on the run and your mother perished,your father survived and entrusted us with you, and told everyone else you died with your mother.",she finished.

Tears flooded my eyes this is all too sad for me to take I can't imagine how love could cause such devastation and the worst part was I'm collateral damage.
As if scencing my feeling she placed her hands on my cheeks and held my face up.

"Darling no matter what you go through remember your special some people just don't see that yet.... you were born for a reason never stop fighting for you life and whatever makes you happy", she said trying to comfort me.

"Eric and I protected you for so long, we bounded your powers so that we could fit in with humans and go undetected by our tribes. As soon as I get enough  strength I'm going to break the spell bounding your powers so that you can protect yourself..........I  have no idea what your uncle wants with you but I wont let him", she said with determination in her eyes.

"Some how he found out you where alive .... I wish it hadn't come to this", she said sadly.

Suddenly the door creeks open and two men from earlier stepped in and grabbed me by my arms dragging me towards the door.

"Where are you taking her!!!",my aunt yelled but they just ignored her and carried on dragging me. I tried to use my weight to stop them but my slender physique did not hold much weight to help me and I was still dragged reluctantly through the door and into a dark hall where at the end  was  a staircase leading up towards a large amount of light.

My  eyes squinted at the change in lighting as they adjusted I realise we're in a field with what looked like a fighting ring. There was a crowd surrounding it cheering on with menacing smiles  on their faces. As I got closer to the ring I could see a man and a brown wolf ib it . The wolf  with it's teeth bared  as they circulated each other with murderous looks on their faces, then suddenly the man leaped towards the wolf and transformed into a larger black wolf, it clamped its teeth into the neck of the brown wolf and the crowd cheered wilder.

I was so distracted by the terrifying scene before me that I didn't realise, I was lead to a platform where my so called uncle was sitting on some sort of throne with men standing by his side. His face was emotionless as he watched the black wolf slaughter the brown one. My body was trembling at the sight of it all but I tried to compose myself. I don't want to give him the pleasure of seeing me terrified again.

He looked at me briefly and stood up,
"Everyone gather aroud I have an announcement", he said with authority.

"As you can see we have a special guest . We are blessed with the presence of a certain young lady, my niece and she's  our key asset . With her as leverage  we will defeat  ________pack , we will take over  Agustus's territory!!!!!"he finished with a roar and then the crowd followed.

I want no part in is master plan, he's crazy if he thinks he's going to use me like a little toy to get what he wants and I'll fight to my last breath to make sure he doesn't . After their little rally I was carried back to the dungeons.

"Kassy!!....are you ok ???,did that sick bastard try to hurt you???", my mom greeted with a worried look.

Even though she told me she wasn't my real mother I still consider her to be she all I have and I'm not about to forget that.

"Yes.... physically I'm ok, but some things I saw out there me was terrifying and I felt soo helpless",I replied recalling the slaughter I witnessed.

"Don't worry honey I'm going to unbound your powers and then you'd be able to defend yourself more"she said to me and held one of my hand in hers while her other hand rested on my forehead.

" cum clausus esset praetermissum sit",she chanted.

The more she said it the warmer my body felt as if my blood was boiling in my veins. When she stopped the warmth disappeared and my body felt normal again.

"I dont feel any different ", I mumbled.

"Have patients honey you wont change immediately......anyways what happened when brought you out there", she said curiously.

"Well I saw some really brutal things between two wolfs and my so called uncle kept going on about how I'm the key for him to claim some dude's territory" I answered nonchalantly.

"Ohhh.My.God ......Victor is going to start a war",she said with a horrfied look on her face.

As she finished her sentence the metal door was pushed open and the two men that carried me out earlier came in. They dragged me out again this time into a large ancient looking house. On the inside it was more furnished than I thought it wold be its almost looks homey in a 'curella de vil'
Kind of way.

I stopped resisting their dragging after a while and was lead to a larger wooden double door. An uneasy feeling came over me just by looking at the door it is almost familar but at the same time frightening I feel as if something behind the doors was pulling me. I'm not sure what it is but I'm about to find out.
