"So you wanna come back to my place and sit in one of our practices after school?" Jamie asked as we walked from lunch to our last lessons. "Vic can't make it, doctors or something, bit Mike and Tony will be there."
"Sorry, I can't. Hannah and I for detentions for screaming in RS when we got the tickets."
"Oh wow. Although it was SWS, so I guess it was expected."
"Yep. Hashtag no regrets!"
Jamie and I burst into laughter.
"I'm. Totally. Kidding." I just about says between fits of laughter.
I'm going to see Sleeping With Sirens in under a month! I actually can't believe it. I have been to concerts before, but they were all smaller and more of a collection of mostly bands I hadn't heard of.
We are going to see them on their earlier dates as their coming to the west first. I think their going to England for a few dates at the end as well.
The detention, in the end, turned out to be a great place to think. No noise to distract you. People aren't even allowed to talk to you, so you don't have to bother ignoring.
Most of the time, my thoughts revolved around the postcard picture of fire tucked into the corner of the board. It was such a pretty picture. The irony was that it would be causing horrible burns, even in this moment.
But it was such a pretty picture I decided to draw something like it sometime soon. The oranges and the yellows and the unannounced white. The autumn leaf-like curls and flicks of red wine on the black canvas that stained so easily.
I loved these kinds of thoughts.
A lot of the more beautiful thoughts are beautifully depressing. But these thoughts were good. Nothing more, they don't have to be. Just good.
Maybe there's something wrong with all of us.
Hannah sat behind me, so towards the end of the hour and a half she tapped my shoulder.
"Pssst. Becca. Okay, so we have ten minutes left. I say we get out as fast as we can and head straight over to a MacDonalds or Tacobell or somethin' and discuss our plans completely for the concert."
"Is that all you've been thinking about?" I whispers back, becoming a ventriloquist.
"Well not all the time, but, so, what d' you say? Just you and me."
Well now I just feel bad...
"Well... I, you could... I kinda agreed to go straight to Hime's as soon as this finished, so..."
"Oh-"
"I'm so sorry. We'll do it tomorrow, yeah?"
"Yeah, whatever it's fine."
I'm horrible.
Hopefully Jamie can cheer me up.

"I never did such a thing. How dare you accuse me of such an offence!" Said Tony dramatically, as I walked in.
"Erm..."
"Oh, hey Becca. It's not what it looks like, I swear." Said Jamie
"We can explain..." Said Mike.
"Please do. Is it always like this?"
"Na, usually Vic sorts us out but he has a dentist's appointment, so the BOTTLE WILL BE MINE!" Shouted Mike.
I walked in, to be greeted by the sight of Jamie lying flat on the ground, stretching to reach for a bottle just a little bit too far away. But that wasn't the weirdest bit. Tony was looking smug sitting in top of Jamie and Mike was hanging off the bed reaching for the same bottle.
"Tony kicked my drink and I am not about to get up and get it." Huffed Jamie.
"Also, I'm really thirsty, so take pitty on the poor 'cause I want the drink." Pleaded Mike.
"And I'm just being difficult." Said Tony, still smiling.
"Okay...I'm just gonna go now..."
"Noooo!"
"Becca!"
"Grab her, Tony." Shouted Jamie. Thanks, friend.
"Ahh!" Tony yelled as he dived at me, while I spun around and attempted to leg it.
Soon enough Tony's tattooed arms were firmly around my waist as he picked me up and carried me back to Jamie's bedroom.
"I dare you to lick the poster of Kellin Quinn's face."
"Now don't make me sit on you as well okay." Said Tony sternly. I don't think he was kidding... "Okay, who's licking kellin's face?"
