How you meet:
You and Matt met in 1st grade when you were put into the same class in school. You've been best friends ever since.
- Flashback -
You walk into your classroom and look around the room. There's a few kids sitting in chairs chatting among themselves, and a teacher was standing in front of her desk talking to someone's parent. You awkwardly stand there smiling to yourself and looking around the room, studying everything in it. "Excuse me." You hear someone say. You look to you right and see a boy standing there. "Hi." You say. "Do you wanna come and play with me until the teacher is ready?" He asks you. You nod and walk over to play with him. You guys played together everyday before class and soon became best friends.

How he asks you out:
You just had probably one of the worst days ever at school. You forgot to do your Math and English homework, your best friend spilled her coffee on you, and you got detention for the next 2 Fridays for being late for Chemistry. You walk out of your last period class and to your locker to get your things. You sigh as you pull your locker open. Rose pedals and a piece of folded up paper fall out of your locker. You lean down and pick up the piece of paper. You unfold it and read it to yourself.
Turn around. :)
You do as it says and turn around to see your best friend, Matt, standing in front of you smiling. You look down at his hands and see that he's holding a white rose in his hand. "What are you doing?" You said giggling. He smiles and grabs your hand. "Y/N, will you go on a date with me? Just one, and if you don't have a good time it never has to happen again." He says looking into your eyes. You hug him and say "Of course." He engulfs you in a hug, still smiling.

Your first date:
Matt picks you up at your house at 7:00. It's on a Friday. He takes you to your favorite restaurant and then went for a walk on the beach, where you guys just sit and talk about anything and everything. You end up staying the night at his house and you fall asleep with him while watching a movie. He asked you to be his girlfriend the next morning when you guys are eating the huge breakfast that he makes you.
