They walked around the land looking for anything that might help them. But all they saw was dry land and burnt out trees. "Ugh! This is pointless. There is nothing for miles I bet," replied Hazel. The gauntlet started glowing, and there was a trail of red sparkles leading under the sand. "What could that be?" asked Hazel. There is only one way to find out," replied Steve. He dug the sand and found a map. "This can help us go around the place better I guess. I was kind of hoping it would be like a loot chest with armor and weapons. Even food," Hazel said as her tummy grumbled. "Maybe this map can lead us to treasure. Or food. Even water because I'm thirsty," exclaimed Steve. He unfolded the map, but all he saw on it was where they were. "What kind of a map is this? All it shows us where we are right now," exclaimed Steve. "It could be one of those magical maps that once you move, the rest of the map starts appearing," replied Oxin. Steve started moving north. It did what Oxin said it would. More of the map started to appear as they moved. "It works!" exclaimed Steve. "Um? Guys? Do you also see that big colossal zombie? Or was it just me?" asked Oxin. "I guess I see it too," replied Hazel. "Should we run or?" asked Steve. "YES! Watch OUT!" shouted Oxin. The giant zombie raised its foot, and almost crushed Steve.
"Why would Goliath make THAT?" asked Steve. It roared very loudly, and then a bunch of regular-sized zombies started appearing. "Steve! You still have TNT left?" asked Hazel. "I have only one! I have to use it wisely," replied Steve as they ran. "I can make some gauntlets out of the gems we got from the mines," exclaimed Oxin. He punched a burnt down tree and made a crafting table. He made two gauntlets for himself, and Steve. "Why is it made out of wood?" asked Steve. "Well, that's the only material I could make it with!" replied Oxin. Suddenly, the giant zombie smashed the crafting table with his foot. Then, it bent over and started dragging his big arm at the ground. He swiped Steve. "Ouch!" shouted Steve. He punched the zombie with his wooden gauntlet, and his arm turned to stone. "How? Did?" asked Steve. He couldn't finish because a zombie smacked him on the head. Steve smacked it back. Hazel used her gauntlet to wipe out a few zombies. "STEVE," the zombie said. The zombie's stone arm kept him on the ground. "It is time to mine him down to size every one!" shouted Oxin as he threw a pickaxe towards Steve. He caught it and started breaking all the stones.
Oxin punched the zombie on its other arm with the gauntlet, and it suddenly turned to stone too. He mined it, and now the zombie had no more arms. "Now I think it is the right time to use the TNT Steve!" shouted Hazel. Steve placed it down, and Hazel picked up a twig, put it into a pond of lava, right before the stick was gone she put it on the TNT, and then they had 3 seconds to run away before it explodes. KABOOM! The zombie fell down in a sand-covered ravine, and it fell down and burst into a pile of rotting zombie flesh. "I'm never felt so happy to smell zombie flesh," exclaimed Oxin. "Hey. It shows a town on the map now. Should we go there?" asked Steve. "Of course! There might be food and water," replied Hazel. "Hopefully we don't run into another giant zombie," replied Steve. They saw the town, but it looked abandoned. There were cobwebs, and fire all over the houses. "Jeez, what happened to this place," exclaimed Hazel. Steve searched into a house and found a chest. He looked inside of it, and it was empty, besides the hanging cobwebs. "It was probably impolite of me to just look into someone's chest... well if they were still here," exclaimed Steve. "Yeah, no kidding. This village has gotten raided by someone," replied Hazel. "Now I feel like we are never escaping this place. Look up," exclaimed Oxin.
"I can't even see the sky. It is all just, black," replied Steve. "I know. Goliath did say we were going to be sent to a place that we would never see the light of day again. I guess he really meant it," replied Hazel. "What if we built a nether portal or an end portal. We might just escape this world," replied Steve. "Oh no! I just remembered something! Goliath is at our kingdom possibly destroying everything or ruling the kingdom," replied Oxin. Suddenly, they heard a footstep. "Who's there!" shouted Hazel as she got her gauntlet ready. An old friend appeared, and she was Alex. "Alex! How did you get down here?" asked Steve. "Goliath. He teleported me down here when I came back to Nexus to visit," replied Alex, "plus I spawned right here," replied Alex. "Hey, while you were gone, we figured out that the way to blink Goliath out of existence is to use the Caster's Gauntlet, but Goliath has it and he also has my gauntlet. My gauntlet can power the Castewer's gauntlet, but Goliath has both. I bet Goliath doesn't know how to use my gauntlet. But it won't be for long until Golatih will figure it out and ruin our once beloved world," replied Steve.
"A village should have a survivor bunker or at least a basement right?" asked Hazel. "To be honest Hazel, by the looks of this village I think everyone is wiped out. I think finding obsidian and to craft that a portal is more important than looking around this wasteland. We don't know how much time we have left to stay here," replied Oxin. "Hey, guys! I found a chest inside this bell tower!" called out Alex to the group. She opened it, and there was a dusty old journal with cobwebs wrapping around it. She dusted it off, and suddenly, the chest shut. "Oh no! It is Redstone wired!" shouted Alex. The bell creaked, and fell crashing the floorboards from underneath her. "AHH!" she shouted as she voiced faded away into the darkness below. "Alex! We got to save her!" shouted Steve. "How do we get down there?" asked Hazel. Steve started looking around. He tore a piece of a log that the tower was built out of. He rubbed a stone onto the twig, and he threw the flaming stick down into the dark hole. At the bottom of the pit, the torch snapped. "Ok, I did see a glimpse of water down there. Alex is ok. We must go down there," replied Oxin. They jumped and landed in a puddle. "Alex?" asked Steve. "I'm ok, but I forgot where the journal is. Do you have a torch or something?" asked Alex. "Hazel, can you use your gauntlet to create light?" asked Steve.
She pushed on of the buttons on her gauntlet, and it made a red shine through the darkness. "WHOA!" exclaimed Hazel. They saw a giant library filled with many different books, all organized in steady selves. However this library might have held much knowledge, this library was very old and could be dangerous. "Now how are we going to find that journal if this library is filled with books," replied Alex. "I got no idea, but it should be on the ground somewhere. I still confused about why you want to find that book so badly, but whatever you say I guess," replied Steve. They ran through the giant library, and suddenly, they spotted a pile of books on the floor, and fallen selves. "It looks like someone has knocked these books down like they were trying to look for something... perhaps a book," replied Oxin. "Maybe someone was trying to look for the same book that I found or something different. Or what if the person that was looking for the book is still here!" shouted Alex. "Shhh... I heard something run past that self over there," whispered Hazel. She flashed her light at the self, then she saw the figure move again, knocking selves as he went. "I think we got to hide!" shouted Hazel. They have hidden in the pile of books. "Guys I have a plan, but we have to make haste. We need to push the shelves to make a domino effect onto the other shelves, we might take out the figure!" replied Oxin. They scattered out of the books and reached the nearby self. "Ok on three, two one we push," exclaimed Alex. "Three, two, one PUSH!" shouted Steve. That's what they did, and the first row of selves tumbled upon the figure.
But the figure just faded right through the self and dashed towards them with black bad smoke coming from behind it. "Ahh! A ghost!" shouted Alex. "Uh, Alex I think that's a ghoul. They are basically shadow ghosts with a skull-like head!" he shouted. It flew up and dashed back towards them Steve dodged it as it swooped down to attack. It screeched very loudly. It started to fly up, and it swooped at them again. "Does it have a weakness?" asked Steve to Oxin. "Light!" shouted Oxin. Right before Hazel shoot a light beam at the Ghoul, it grabbed her by the neck and flew away. "Ahh!" she screamed. "Hazel!" shouted Alex. She started to climb the pile of books and jumped onto the shelves. Hazel dropped her glowing gauntlet, and Alex grabbed it right before it could hit the ground. She shot a very bright beam of light at the ghoul, and it released Hazel and started covering its eyes. The ghoul tried to fly away from the light, but Alex kept the light right on it. Suddenly, it charged to her, and it knocked her off the self. The shadowy figure melted into the light, never to be seen again. "Ouch. That fight was intense," replied Alex. "Hopefully there is no more of those Ghouls around this library because we are trapped down here," exclaimed Steve.
