Chapter Ten- The Beginning of the End

 We thought all hope was lost, but Steve grabbed the Gem of Light right after the flash of darkness happened. He reversed the time and grabbed the Gaunlet back. "What? I knew I blasted this world into infinity!" shouted Goliath. "You thought, but the Gaunlet Guardians never give up hope!" shouted Steve. Goliath knew his end was near, by he ran away with great fear. "Don't let him get away!" shouted Leo. Steve ran after him. The war was nearly finished. Alex decided to follow Steve, and Leo followed Alex. They cased him up on top of the Farlands, and it seemed like he was running towards the tallest pinnacle. Once he reached the top, he knew his time was up. But he still got one trick up his sleeve. He used his gauntlet to turn himself into a Twisted Eldritch Abomination. He was a skeleton colossal size beast, and he began to spin around, and summon lightning around the group."Oh no!' shouted Steve. Goliath slammed his arm against the surface, the teleported somewhere else, and summoned 10 more, shooting purple lasers at the group. Alex hid behind a big rock, using it as a shield. "This is pure evil!" shouted Leo. Goliath appeared back crawling towards Leo, grabbing him by his feet. "AHH!" shouted Leo. Alex shot arrows at Goliath's arms. Then, he summons purple minions.

  They and they died off in one rolled towards Oxin, but he pulled out a hammer and smashed it. Steve noticed the Gem of Darkness infused inside of him inside his body. "Guys! Shot at the Gem inside of him! I think that's his power source and weak point! Goliath roared and covered his gem with his big arms. Steve shot a big colorful laser straight at Goliath's gem, bursting it into flames, engulfing light and darkness all around him, shrinking him back into the little tyrant that Steve and his friends trapped on the top of a cliffy gravel mountain. "NO!" shouted Goliath as he saw his powers melt away. Steve, Leo, and Alex walked up towards him. Steve began pointing his gauntlet at him, then Goliath fell to the ground covering his head. Instead of Steve blowing Goliath up into adam's, he reached his hand towards Goliath. "What? You are giving me a second chance?" asked Goliath. "Yes. No one deserves to die, even though you killed d many," replied Steve. You must go without me. I have to pay for my crimes," replied Goliath. No, we can't. Grab my hand and let's get out of here!" shouted Steve."                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                The Gem of Darkness began to reform itself! The tiny glowing shards moved closer together, colliding back into the Gem! "Goliath! What curse have you unleashed upon the land!?" shouted Steve. The Gem of Darkness transformed into a big, shadowy creature with a skull-like face, with purple glowing eyes. "Once I am bound to the Gem, and if it gets destroyed, it will reform itself as long if   I'm still living. Quick! You have to blast me into infinity with your Caster's Gauntlet to break the curse!  Or else the Gem will be engulfing the OverWorld with pure evil monstrosities!" shouted Goliath. Steve thought about it, and the beast was about to destroy him. so he had no choice. "This is the Beginning of the End!" shouted Steve. The Caster's gauntlet started glowing with electrical charges. Lightning struck around Steve, then, all the elements swirled around him, and then,  ...                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           BOOM!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        -"Steve! Wake up!' shouted Leo as he shook Steve. The sky was clear, not dark and eerie. The empire of darkness filled troops of Goliath burned in the sun. All the Nexus army troops cheered in happiness. But, what happened to Steve? "Steve is in a deep coma! We have to bring him to a doctor!" shouted Alex.
