Taylor pov

I woke up to my phone going off. I groan, grabbing my phone and turned it off. It was finally the day, I was moving out of my friend house, Amanda. She's been great letting me stay with her. I moved out here to New York when I was 17. I wanted to be a actress, but haven't made it yet. I have had a few commercial here and there but nothing big. I saved enough money to get a small New York apartment that's about less than 1,000 sq ft. I got lucky to get a two bedroom apartment.

I put on my short jeans, my red crop top and I tied my shoes smiling. I'm going to miss Amanda as a roommate a lot. I'm just happy to have a great friend like her in my life. She's been my friend since I moved out here over four years ago.

*Flash Back *

"Hey, I think you drop your card." I grab the card from the ground and handed it to her smiling.

"Oh, thank you so much." she said. "I'm Amanda by the way." She put her hand out, I move her hand and hugged her.

"I'm Taylor." She laughed probably because I hugged her.

A few months of knowing Amanda, I move in with her. We have been friends ever since.

*Flash Back Over*

Amanda was helping me move some boxes downstairs into the moving truck. I asked them if they would move my bed, nightstands and other heavy things. They did. I sigh looking at apartment.

"I'm going to miss this Amanda." I said looking over at Amanda who is holding back tears.

I hug her tight as she hugs back tighter. A few moments later we pull back.

"I'll still come over, I promise." I said.

*At the Apartment*

I grab the keys and put them in opening the door.

"Wow. This place is so cool." I sat a box on the kitchen counter, opening it.

"I should have put names on the boxes. I'm just a dork." I laugh opening another box.

After almost the whole day gone of moving everything out of Amanda apartment to my own. I got us some pizza and wine. I was trying to found glasses when Amanda ask me about something.

"What?" I look over at her.

"Why do you have a blue couch?" She asked looking at me.

"I don't know. When I looked at this place it was just there. I was thinking, the people who lived here before didn't grab it yet or something but i guess it's mine?" I question myself, shrugging my shoulders.

"Found the wine glasses!" I smile, sitting the pizza box on the hardwood floor and grabbing some napkins.

I try to open the wine an sighs.

"Damnit I don't know where the wine opener is. I'm sorry Amanda."

"It's okay Tay." Amanda said.

The rest of the night we talked and laughed about anything and everything.

*The Next Morning*

I woke up to Amanda making noises in the kitchen. I got up and went out to find her putting things away for me.

"Morning" I said sounding like I couldn't talk at all.

She look up, smiling. "Morning friend of mine. I was trying not to wake you up." She counite to put things away.

"Let me help you it is my place." I yawn, grabbing a box and putting the cooking books on the small table.

A few hours of going through boxes. Amanda had to leave for work, I hug her and said goodbye. I close the door and bite my lip. My apartment! I said falling onto the couch.

What should I do with this couch?
