Meeting my Neighbors

Taylor pov

It's been a week since I move in and everything is great. I still have some boxes to unbox. Amanda comes over everyday. It's amazing. I bake some cupcakes and put them on a dish. I fix my hair and put my hair into a ponytail. I was rocking my blue jeans and black shirt. I grab my keys and cupcakes, closing the door. My anxiety wasn't going to win today. I can do this, I think. 

I knocked on the door across from me. I haven't even meant whoever live here yet. My heart was racing when I heard footsteps getting closer to the door. I look down then up, the door open to a guy without a shirt on in gray sweatpants. I bite the inside of my cheek nervously. 

"Hi, I'm Taylor. Your new neighbor. Well more like your neighbor for a week. I just get really nervous and my anxiety doesn't help at all." I continued to talk until he stopped me smiling.  

"It's okay. I'm Jack. I saw you move in. I didn't want to bother you. I should have because you're new here and I could have helped out." Jack said looking at me. 

"That's okay." I couldn't help but smile like a dork then snapping myself out of it. "Oh I made you some cupcakes." I hand Jack the dish biting my lip. 

He said thank you again. "It was nice to meet you." He sat the dish down looks at me. "Would you like to come in?"

"Sure." I walk in, putting my hands into my jean jacket. "This is nice place Jack."

 "Thanks. But it's my friend place. He's coming back soon with my bandmates." 

"Bandmates?" I ask sitting on the couch by Jack that put on a shirt.

 "Yeah, we're in a band together. It's called Why Don't We." he said. 

Why Don't We? 

"It's the band name Why Don't We or??" 

"I know a lot of people look at us like that when we say it sometimes." he said smiling.

 I look over at the door that became open. I saw four guys and they just looked at me then at Jack. 

Zach pov

"Guys, It's not what you think it is. This is Zach's new neighbor Taylor." Jack said looking at us.

Taylor walked over to Jonah first introducing herself then to Corbyn, Daniel and me last. My heart was racing a little bit because she's so pretty and I'm nervous. I just nod while she just giggles. 

"It was nice to meet you all. I should go. Enjoy the cupcakes." she said as she waves and close the door. 

"Good job Zach." Daniel smirk laughing.  

"Shut up guys!" I sigh grabbing the dish of cupcake sitting them in the kitchen. 

"Taylor is really nice. And?" Jonah says looking over. 

"And nothing else." I replied. 

"Lie Zach." Corbyn chuckles grabbing a cupcake.

"Damn! She can bake! I think you might like her slightly Zach." Jack said sitting back on the couch. "Oh I told her that we are in a band." 

 "You did? Why?"  I bit my lip. 

"Yeah. I didn't want to lie to her." Jack finished his cupcake and shrugs.
